Rain-X Fusion Wiper Blades Installation - 1997 Ford Van

Today on this 1997 Ford Van Club Wagon were going to do a test fit of part number RX8800007 from Rain-X. This is their Fusion windshield wiper blade. A few things to know is that this is a replacement all weather blade. It has a synthetic rubber squeegee with built in UV inhibitors to protect it in the sunlight. This also has a casing built on top of the frame to protect it from ice and snow. To start off our test fit were going to go ahead and remove the original wiper blades.



Rain-X Latitude Wiper Blades Installation - 1997 Ford Van

Today on this 1997 Ford Van Club Wagon were going to do a test fit of part number RX5079279 from Rain-X. This is their Latitude wiper blades. To start of our test fit well go ahead and remove the original wiper blades. Theres a small tab located right here that we push so we can release the wiper blade. Then we can go ahead and simply slide on our new Rain-X wiper blade. It just fits into the groove and snaps into place.



Rain-X Weatherbeater Wiper Blades Installation - 1997 Ford Van

Today on this 1997 Ford Van Club Wagon were going to do a test fit of part number RX30222 from Rain-X. This is their Weatherbeater wiper blade. To start off our test fit were going to go ahead and remove the original wiper blades. Theres a small tab located here that we push and we can slide off the blade. Then we can go ahead and install the new ones. The new Rain-X Weatherbeaters just line up the groove and slide them into place.



WeatherTech Cargo Floor Liner Review - 1997 Ford Van

Today on this 1997 Ford Van Club Wagon were going to do a test fit of part number WT42087 from Weathertech. Today were working with the grey part number. This is also available as tan, as part number WT41087 and black as part number WT40087. A couple of other things to know about this floor liner is that the shape, the channels and molding all work to keep dirt and debris contained in the liner and not on your carpet, and they can be easily removed and cleaned with just soap and water. Well start off our test fit by laying the new liner into the cargo area of the van. You can see that it matches the corners and the edge all around the floor.



Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chains Review - 1997 Ford Van

Today on our 1997 Ford E-250 Van with tire size P245/75-R16, we'll be installing the Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chains, part number PW1046. Now before installing your chains, it would be a good idea to lay them out flat and make sure that any tangles that are in the chains are out. After doing that, we're ready to install them on the vehicle. On the right rear here, we'll lay our chain over the tire, making sure that the chains are centered with our tire tread. Now, we want to make our connections down here at the 6 o'clock position. On the inside of the tire, we'll connect the two ends of the side chain together.



Trailer Brake Controller Installation - 1997 Ford Van

Today on this 1997 Ford Van Club Wagon were going to install part #: 90885 from Tekonsha. Well also use part #: 3035P also from Tekonsha for our adaptor that goes to the factory port thats located in the van. First thing well do is well go ahead and locate the port thats underneath the dash of the van. Itll be located off to the left hand side behind the parking brake. Well plug in our adaptor cord and then well find a location to mount our bracket for our brake controller. Now to locate our brake controller bracket on the left hand side of the dash just blow the headlight switch.



Thule XB16 Snow Tire Chains Review - 1997 Ford Van

Today on our 1997 Ford E250 Van well be installing Thule standard snow tire chains for SUVs, commercial vehicles and motorhomes part #: TH01571255 with tire size 245/75-R16s. Now, to begin our installation well need to remove the chains from the packaging and lay them all flat to make sure we get out any tangles that may be in the chains. After doing that well take the blue cable and run it behind the tire from the rear toward the front of the vehicle. We can then grab both sides of the blue cable, well bring it up to the 12 oclock position where well connect the two ends of the blue cable together. We can then allow the blue cable to move toward the inside of the tire making sure that our chain stays centered with the tread of the tire. Here on the outside well take the red chain link and the red hook and connect them together.



Husky Front Floor Liners Review - 1997 Ford Van

Today, on our 1997 Ford Van Club Wagon were going to do a test fit of the Husky Liners Floor Liners in the front row part number hl33251. We will be working with the black color today, but this is also available as tan as part number hl33253 and gray as part number hl33252. All right, well start off our test fit by removing the original floor mats and well start off on the driver side.When we install it you can see that it goes underneath the pedals. It also wraps over the foot rest a little bit and it also meets up to the rails in the front seat. It also has about a minimum of a quart inch edge all the way around the liner.Now, looking at the passenger side, you can see it goes a half way up the floor board where it has a edge that goes all the way around and it also meets the backseat. Depending on the floor layout of the model, you can see how this one has an extra piece shown to kind of adapt that version as well.



Longview Custom Towing Mirrors Installation - 1997 Ford Van

Today, on this 1997 Ford Van Club Wagon were going to do a test fit of part number ctm2500 Longview Custom Towing Mirrors. Before we start off our test fit, well go ahead and show you how the pads are to be set into the mirror. There are two pads that we need to attach to the mirror to be plenty of grip to the factory mirror. Now, weve located right here. All right, next well go ahead and slide our mirror onto the factory mirror. You can see how the edge of the long mirror wrap around the edge, inside edges of the factory mirror.
