  • An engine oil cooler with fan, like # D15450, has a 10 foot OEM spec hose. • Are MagnaFlow Mufflers Compatible with the Exhaust on a 1995 Ford F-150 4x4 with 5.8 Liter V8
  • The MagnaFlow mufflers will reduce back pressure and free up your exhaust system to flow better, creating more horsepower and torque, but will not reduce the back pressure enough to affect the OEM specs and cause an O2 sensor to throw a fault code. Your vehicle only requires about 2 to 3 lbs of back pressure to function correctly and staying with the original inlet and outlet diameters at the muffler will not affect manufacturer specs. The only time you would be in danger of creating too m

  • Truck Bed Tie Downs for a 1995 Ford F-150 and Light Weight 8-1/2 Foot Camper
  • For your 1995 Ford F-150 and camper, I recommend the Camper Hold Downs, # HSSF. The hold downs do not fit in the stake pockets but wrap around the bed rails and are mounted inside the bed. There is no weight capacity rating on the hold downs and the will work for any camper size that is properly sized for your vehicle. I also recommend the Camper Tie Down Hardware Package, # TDHP, which has a weight capacity of 3,000 pounds.

  • You have 3 options for connecting your trailer with a 4-Way flat connector to your F-150 with 4-Way Round connector. Probably the best way to go in the long run, would be to use the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4 Pole Trailer Connector, item # 118316, to install a 4-Way Flat connector on your truck and eliminate the 4-Way round connector. I have included installation instructions for this harness for you to review. This will allow you to tow your trailer with a direct connection to the t

  • To install the Prodigy P3 brake controller, # 90195-3035P, in your 1995 Ford F-150, you will just need the included wiring harness and an Adapter 4 Pole to 7 Pole and 4 Pole, # 37185. The brake controller will plug into a factory plug under the dash, near the center console. I have included a link to the installation details for the brake controller. To install the 37185 harness, the existing 4-Way will plug into the back of the 37185. Next, follow the wiring for the 4-Way back towards the fr

  • For a 7-Pole connection you will need first install #118316 on your 1995 Ford F-150. I have included a video that shows this harness being installed on a similar vehicle. Then, I recommend using Adapter 4-Pole to 7-Pole and 4-Pole, # 37185, because it will attach to the 4-Pole on the vehicle and give you output for 7-Pole round plug and 4-Flat. It also includes additional wire leads for brake, power, and accessory. I have included a video showing installation of this adapter below. I have also a

  • Installing Brake Controller in 1995 Ford F150 with Aftermarket 4-Way Trailer Connector
  • Since your truck is apparently not equipped with the factory 4-way connector, brake controller output wire has not been run to the rear of the truck. You will need the 4 to 7-way trailer connector adapter, part # 37185 and the brake controller wiring adapter, part # 20260. The adapter would plug into the connector under the dash, and the controller would wire to the adapter. Instead of connecting the blue wire from the controller to the adapter, attach a length of 12 ga. wire and route throug

  • Installing Tekonsha Prodigy, Part # 90185 on 1995 Ford 150 XL Without 4-Way Trailer Connetor
  • This would be a pretty simple install. You can use the Wiring Adapter, part # 3035-P to install the Tekonsha Prodigy Brake Controller. Unless you can locate the Blue brake output wire on the drivers side frame rail near the rear tire, you will have to run some 10 gauge wire from the trailer connector, part 30717 to the blue brake output wire on the brake controller. If you need the 12V accessory lead on the trailer connector, you will need to run a wire from the trailer connector to the positive

  • What Is Required for Brake Controller Installation on a 1995 Ford F-150 with Factory 7-Way
  • The Tekonsha Prodigy would work fine as a brake controller. Since your 1995 Ford F-150 came with a factory 7-Way, your truck is pre-wired for a brake controller. There should actually be a port underneath the dash for you to plug a brake controller into the truck. You could order part # 90185-3035P. This package is the Tekonsha Prodigy brake controller and the brake controller harness that will plug into the back of the controller and into the port underneath the dash, near the center console

  • How to Wire a Trailer with Electric Brakes to a 1995 Ford F-150
  • We can certainly help you get set up with what you need to tow your trailer. Starting with the brakes on the trailer, (which I am going to assume are operational) each brake magnet will have two leads coming out of it. One lead needs to be grounded to the trailer, the other needs to be connected to a 10 ga. wire that runs to the tongue of the trailer. Run one lead from the brakes on the other side to this wire as well. On the trailer side, you will need a 7 way connector plug, part # H20046,(the

  • Finding the Reverse Light Wire on a 1995 Ford F-150 for Installing a 7-Way
  • Without a tow package, there probably will not be a harness or wire bundle that you can tap into. Your best bet would be to tap into the wiring behind one of your back up lights. Use a circuit tester, like part # 40376, to verify this connection. It sounds as if you have the rest all figured out. Good job!
