Cipa Custom Towing Mirror Review - Video

Today we are going to show you part number 10501 from Cipa. This is Cipas Custom Towing Mirror. These mirrors are custom made for each individual vehicle. In this instance, we actually use a Dodge Durango for our test fit. This mirror extension sits up on the factory mirror. It slides onto the factory mirror just about right here. And what keeps it in place is this wedge, which gets installed between the factory mirror and the extension mirror, right here. Now I will clamp this into place. And what actually tightens everything down is this knob, which goes on the back side of the mirror. It gets screwed in there and applies pressure to the back of the wedge, which in turn clamps the mirror to the factory mirror. more

Slide-On Towing Mirrors Installation - 2005 Dodge Ram - Video

Basically how this mirror works is it slides over your existing mirror with a clamp that holds everything in place. There you have it, that is all it takes to install the slide on mirror. As you can see you have the extra side mirror. Just like the interior one, you can adjust it left to right, vertical and anywhere in between.
