Peak Performance Products Backup Camera Review - Video
Today we are going to be installing the backup camera from Peak Performance Products, and it is model number PK015737. The first thing we are going to do is to find a suitable mounting point for the mounting bracket that holds the monitor. You can typically mount it to your windshield here, but you want to make sure you put it in a location where it is not going to interfere with your sight line while you are driving. I am actually going to put it down below here and from there we can just kind of mount the monitor onto the bracket, and that snaps into place. Go ahead and plug the power source into the camera. You can see there is a little port here right on the side that that will plug into. And then the other end has a standard 12 volt cigarette lighter plug. On this particular vehicle it has actually got two, a cigarette lighter and then we have a 12 volt power source. So we can go ahead and plug into there. I am going to go ahead and hide the wires a little bit, from the camera over to the power source. Okay, a suitable routing point for the wires would be down the threshold here, along the door frame. And I am going to just kind of hide the wires back up and behind there. Okay, with the wire pulled through over here, hidden beneath the dashboard over there, I am going to pull this panel portion away, and again that further hides the wire for me. Makes a cleaner appearance. Then we just want to go ahead and plug that into our 12 volt power source. more

Swift Hitch Backup Camera Review - Video
Today we are going to show you part number 04928 from Swift Hitch, the trailer hitch aligner and portable wireless camera system. As you can see, it comes in 2 different pieces here. One camera goes in the back of your vehicle and the other camera is a hand held device that you carry in the cab of your truck while you back up to your trailer. We will show you a couple of nice feature about this camera system. First off, it has a 1 button operation here which basically turns it on, hold it down until the screen comes on. Then to turn it off, simply hold the button down again until it goes off. Also that is the same thing with the camera itself. It has a simple on and off button to operate it. Both of these devices have their own internal batteries. The kit does come complete with charger form so you can charge them both at the same time. The screen it self is 2 and a half inches wide and is a full color screen also. more

Autopage Backup Sensor Installation - 2010 Chevrolet Equinox - Video
Today on this 2010 Chevrolet Equinox we are going to install part number BPS-4 from Auto Page. First we are going to take off the tail light. A lot of times it is not necessary but it gives us extra room to take off the bumper cover so we do not scratch anything up. Next we will take out the fasteners that are on the edge of the fender wells. Underneath the vehicle by the passenger side fender well we will take out this fastener and then we will take out another fastener underneath the bumper. Repeat the same thing back over on the driver side. First thing we want to do when we take off the bumper cover is this will pop out to the side. Work it back and forth so it comes loose. Get both sides loose and then you can go straight back with the bumper. Now that we have got our bumper on the work bench we have got a better idea where we need to place the sensors. 00:56 more

Hopkins Rear View Camera with Backup Sensors Review - Video
Today, on this 2009 Honda Accord, we are going to be showing you the rear view camera system from Hoppy part number HM60195VA. We have all of our wires secured up and we just want to go ahead and give a quick test run to a back-up camera. You will see that when we put the power on, when we put the vehicle in reverse, that picture comes up. You will notice at the top there that we have three different colors. We have a green, a yellow and a red for each side. Those are going to be our distance indicators. And those will also be what will activate our back-up sensor as well. Today we are going to cover part number 4843DAT from Master Lock. This is our hitch alignment and vehicle back up camera. This is a very simple system to install on your vehicle. It takes no time to install. First off we will cover the components of it. Starting back here. This is one of the mounts. This will actually mount the monitor to the windshield of your truck. It also has a neat little clip that goes into the vents on your vehicle if you want to mount it there temporarily. And this is the power supply chord and this plugs into your 12 volt power supply and plugs into the side of the camera. And on the back part, the actual camera itself is this unit right here. What this device does first off is it pulls into a standard 12 volt outlet in the dash of your vehicle. It houses a couple of different outlets on it, first off. Hopkins Tire Pressure Monitoring System Review - Video
Today we are going to show you the Hopkins wireless tire pressure monitoring system, part number HM30100VA. The system displays and continuously checks the pressure of each tire in the system. The system can monitor up to 24 tires. The Hopkins tire pressure monitor system, or TPMS, is compatible with all sizes of tires for cars, trucks, trailers and RVs. The sensors work on all sizes of tires up to 150 psi. And additional sensors are sold separately. The sensors simply install on the valve stems of each tire on the rig. Once installed for the first time, the sensor will take a reading and establish that as the baseline pressure. Hopkins Rear View Camera Installation - 2001 Ford Excursion - Video
Today on this 2001 Ford Excursion, we are going to show you how to install the rear view camera system part number HM60195VA. The first thing we want to do before we get started is to go ahead and take all of the components out of the packaging. There are three different pieces that we are going to be using here to hook up our system. The first part is our new license plate mounting bracket which holds not only our back up sensors but our rear view camera as well. Inside the cab, we will be mounting our new camera. And in between the two we have this long lead of wiring harness. The red wire on this we are going to hook into the reverse light on the vehicle. Then the black wire is going to be grounded to the vehicle. So we are going to start at the rear of the vehicle and go ahead and figure out how we are going to hook into the reverse wire on the vehicle. Normally you would go ahead and hook in behind the taillights. However, this particular vehicle does have a factory installed tow package and this tow package does have a reverse wire hooked into it. So we are actually going to tap into there. In fact, all of the wires of the tow package up and around, there is actually a disconnect point right behind the license plate area. So I am going to go ahead and disconnect there and go ahead and wire my wires in. So what I have done is actually take the connector here and I popped it off of its mounting clip. And, it is hard to see here, but there is a release on the top side of that. If you press that down and pull away, you can separate the two pieces. Now what I can do is take the wired end and go ahead and bring it out underneath the vehicle so that it is easier to work with. 1:27 more

Wagan Power Inverter with a 210 Watt USB Port Review - Video
Alright, today we are going to review part number WC2295-6 from Wagan Tech. What this is is a Smart AC 210 watt power inverter. What this does is it plugs into your 12 volt outlet in your vehicle and that converts that to 110 voltage. This does supply a constant wattage of 210. You can install two different 110 devices in here. Hopkins Rear View Camera Installation - 2009 Honda Accord - Video
Today on this 2009 Honda Accord we will be installing the Rear View Camera System from Hoppy, part number HM60195VA. On this particular vehicle the easiest way to route it is going to be down the drivers side of the truck compartment and then under the kick board on the drivers side once we get inside the car. You also need to figure out, looking where the license plate goes, which you can see I have already removed, how we are also going to be getting the wire that is going up to our inboard camera from the license plate area inside of the car. :28 more
