Basically how this mirror works is it slides over your existing mirror with a clamp that holds everything in place. There you have it, that is all it takes to install the slide on mirror. As you can see you have the extra side mirror. Just like the interior one, you can adjust it left to right, vertical and anywhere in between. That is the custom towing mirror by Longview, model # 3100-B for a Dodge Ram pickup truck. more

This easily installed fender-mount towing mirror is perfect for a multi-vehicle owner with its easily adjustable arms and no tool installation. It can easily be attached and detach according to the need of the vehicle. The mirror itself measures 7-1/8 x 5-3/4 inches. This mirror does require some assembly but its not too bad. It consists of six components total and once you get it together it is pretty easy to adjust and put on your vehicle. We will cover some of the finer points of installing it and show you how it mounts up and where it is supposed to be. As you can see here we actually have the mirror assembly spread out as far as possible. We will start off with that then we will tighten up as we need to, to accommodate the vehicle. more

This easily installed universal towing mirror will mount to any mirror with its conforming rubber knobs and securing clamps this mirror will attach easily to any mirror you have on your vehicle. The total length of the mirror is 18 inches and the mirror itself is 5x5-3/4 inches. Before we can install this mirror there is a little bit of prep we have to do. First make sure the mirror itself on your vehicle is nice and clean, you do not want to trap any dust or dirt between the pads and the mirror and ruin the finish on your vehicle. First of what we need to do is install these pads, and they are just self adhesive. While we are on the subject with these knobs, we will show you how adjustable they are. The knobs actually spin up and down so you can raise the height of them. This knob here will actually spin back down to lock it into place. That way it will help conform to the curvature of your mirror. more

This is their clip on style version and the overall length of this mirror is 11-3/4 inches. We will go ahead and flip it on our factory mirror and show you how it works. How this installs is pretty simple, it just clamps on and these clamps here on top are spring loaded. It allows a lot of adjustability depending on how thick your mirror is. That pretty much holds it in place and it also has these little dent-ins to help lock in position so you can tilt it up or down. To install it is pretty easy, the best way to do is to just go ahead and put it over the top edge and pull the latches down and let it fall back in place. Also what is nice about this is that the dent-ins let you to take it and tilt it down as needed. As you can see you can get a wide angle view of everything. It is especially helpful on the outside of your vehicle in the blind spots. Also with the mom and dads out there with SUVS and minivans with all the kids in the back, you can keep an eye on all of the kids really easily with this mirror. So that gives you two functions in one. There you have it for part # 34000 from Cipa. more

We are going to be showing this installed on a 2004 Chevy Pickup Full Size. We will show you how it goes on, it is a pretty simple device. Before we begin our install what we need to do is two things, first off it is a good idea to clean off the mirror. This is so when you push the extension on the vehicle it does not push the dirt into the mirror and possibly ruin your finish. After that we need to assemble the mirror itself. That requires putting a felt pad on the wedge that you see off to the right hand side. Once we have that, we can go ahead and install the mirror. This does not have to be perfect because this is actually all going to be on the inside of the mirror. Once you have your sticker in place this wedge actually gets installed inside the mirror and there is actually a little notch back here for this to fit into. It is kind of a loose fit but it has to move around a little bit and it has to sit in these two grooves right here. more

This product slides over your existing mirror and gives you a wider field of view while you are going down the road. This product will fit a variety of vehicles; including the 1996-2005 Ford Explorer, 1996-2003 Ford Ranger, 1996-2005 Mercury Mountaineer, and the 1994-2004 Mazda Sport Pickup. This is a simple device. Basically it slides over your factory mirror and there is a hook that clamps it in place. We will start our install by putting our felt backer on the back of the mirror. This felt gets installed in the center of the opening where your factory mirror will reside. Basically it is a nice big sticker. At this point we can go to our factory mirror and install it. After we slide our towing mirror over our existing mirror, we install the hook. This hook will grab the edge of the factory mirror and comes through and reaches the opening on the other side. Now we take our knob and install it through the opening and tighten it down. There you have it, and as you can see the factory mirror is ready to rotate too. That pretty much covers it for part # 2200-A, the towing mirror from Longview. This part comes with mirrors for both sides of the truck. more
