K Source Towing Mirrors Installation - 2004 Chevrolet Suburban - Video
Today on this 2004 Chevrolet Suburban we are going to install some towing mirrors part number KS80800 from. These mirrors are a snap to put on literally because that is how they mount to the vehicle. Basically this mirror will wrap around the factory mirror itself and it has some foam tape in here to kind of cushion it and help take up some of the gap. It is pretty simple, take these two hooks on top and line it up with the edge of the mirror and pull on the bottom of the edge a little bit and pull it down and around and there is one on the side also. The bottom edge snaps over here. 00:39 more

Cipa Custom Towing Mirror Review - Video
Today we are going to show you part number 10501 from Cipa. This is Cipas Custom Towing Mirror. These mirrors are custom made for each individual vehicle. In this instance, we actually use a Dodge Durango for our test fit. This mirror extension sits up on the factory mirror. It slides onto the factory mirror just about right here. And what keeps it in place is this wedge, which gets installed between the factory mirror and the extension mirror, right here. Now I will clamp this into place. And what actually tightens everything down is this knob, which goes on the back side of the mirror. It gets screwed in there and applies pressure to the back of the wedge, which in turn clamps the mirror to the factory mirror. more

Longview Slide On Custom Towing Mirror Review - Video
This product slides over your existing mirror and gives you a wider field of view while you are going down the road. This product will fit a variety of vehicles; including the 1996-2005 Ford Explorer, 1996-2003 Ford Ranger, 1996-2005 Mercury Mountaineer, and the 1994-2004 Mazda Sport Pickup. This is a simple device. Basically it slides over your factory mirror and there is a hook that clamps it in place. We will start our install by putting our felt backer on the back of the mirror. This felt gets installed in the center of the opening where your factory mirror will reside. Basically it is a nice big sticker. At this point we can go to our factory mirror and install it. After we slide our towing mirror over our existing mirror, we install the hook. This hook will grab the edge of the factory mirror and comes through and reaches the opening on the other side. Now we take our knob and install it through the opening and tighten it down. There you have it, and as you can see the factory mirror is ready to rotate too. That pretty much covers it for part # 2200-A, the towing mirror from Longview. This part comes with mirrors for both sides of the truck. more

CIPA Extendable Towing Mirror Installation - 2006 Dodge Ram Pickup 1500 - Video
Today on this 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck we are going to install part number 73600 from CIPA. This is their extendable trailer towing mirror. To begin our install the first thing we need is roll down the window itself. Then we have to start removing the inside trim panel. There are a few fasteners but it will not be too bad to do. We will work our way from top to bottom on this. We are going to start off with this screw right here and work our way down. The next thing we need to do is remove this panel. This will just come out for now and we are going to take our trim panel removal tool and go underneath the edge and pry it up. 00:37 more

CIPA Custom Towing Mirror Review - Video
We are going to be showing this installed on a 2004 Chevy Pickup Full Size. We will show you how it goes on, it is a pretty simple device. Before we begin our install what we need to do is two things, first off it is a good idea to clean off the mirror. This is so when you push the extension on the vehicle it does not push the dirt into the mirror and possibly ruin your finish. After that we need to assemble the mirror itself. That requires putting a felt pad on the wedge that you see off to the right hand side. Once we have that, we can go ahead and install the mirror. This does not have to be perfect because this is actually all going to be on the inside of the mirror. Once you have your sticker in place this wedge actually gets installed inside the mirror and there is actually a little notch back here for this to fit into. It is kind of a loose fit but it has to move around a little bit and it has to sit in these two grooves right here. more
