HitchMate TruckStep Review - Video
Today we are going to show you the HitchMate TruckStep, part number HE4045. The HitchMate TruckStep secures to any class III or higher 2 inch receivers with a traditional 5/8 hitch pin. It extends 23-1/2 inches from the receiver and has a 500 pound weight capacity. The TruckStep is designed to extend far enough that you can use the step even with the tailgate down. To extend the TruckStep, pull the pin and the system slides out. And when you hit the end, it locks back into place. With the TruckStep in the extended position, we will be able to lower our tailgate and still be able to use the TruckStep. You can also use the TruckStep in the retracted position with the tailgate up. When not in use, you can fold the TruckStep up so that you do not risk hitting your shins walking behind the vehicle. Thule Step Up Wheel Step Review - Video
Today we are going to show you the Thule Step Up wheel step, part number TH232. Loading a roof cargo box on an SUV may not always be the easiest thing. When at home, usually you will have access to a ladder or step stool that will make things easier. But what about when you are on the go and you arrive at your destination? Thule offers the Step Up wheel step. The wheel step attaches to the wheel of your vehicle and rests against the tire. Feed the strap around the back of your tire. If you need to, you can loosen the strap by pressing the lever on the buckle. Once you have the wheel step where you want it, simply pull the loose end of the strap to tighten it. Make sure that the wheel step is above the center line of your wheel. If you need to make it higher, just shift it up and tighten the strap again. It provides a sturdy platform so that you can load and unload your roof rack cargo box. It is also collapsible. Included with the wheel step is a carrying case so you can easily take it with you.
