Today we are going to show you part number TH01571250 from Thule. This is Thules XB16 tire chains. As shown here, the tire chains come in a nice carrying box. Also the kit comes with a pair of gloves to help keep your mitts dry while you are installing the chains. It even comes with a couple of extra repair links. And finally it comes with a little kneeling mat to keep your knees from getting wet while you are kneeling in the snow. These tire chains use unique, color-coded connection points to ease installation. Basically you are just matching color for color to put everything together. This is also compatible with anti-lock braking and electronic stability control systems on some of the newer cars and trucks. Actually this set is specially made for commercial vehicles, RVs and for off-road adventures, too. Construction is hardened manganese nickel alloy steel. The chain link diameter is about 16 millimeters and it has internal clearance required to operate within the fender well of about 16 millimeters too. This does come complete with a 1-year warranty. Now we will go ahead and show you how it works and show you a typical installation. more

Today we are going to show you part number TH00204102 from Thule. This is one of their tire chains, and this is their CS10 model. As you can see here, it comes with a carrying case, and you can carry both chains. Off to the right-hand side is a pair of gloves to help keep your mitts dry while you install the snow chains. Also, there is a set of extra repair links that come with. And then also, off to the left of that is a handle, and that is part of the quick-release system, which is one of the benefits of this actual part number here. It makes it really easy to disconnect the chain and take it off of the vehicle. And finally there is a kneeling mat so when you kneel down of course you will not get your knees wet. It has a patented self-centering and self-tensioning system. The tensioning system actually centers the chain on the tire as you drive. The pattern on the chain is asymmetrical, diamond-pattern chain with icebreaker reinforcements. And this will not affect anything like anti-lock braking systems and electronic stability control systems. And next we will go ahead and install this chain and show you how it works and how it looks. more

Today we are going to show you part number TH01221102 from Thule. This is their CB12 tire chains. As you can see here, the chains come in a handy carrying case. I have one of the chains in the center also you have a package with some gloves that you can wear over your mittens and whatnot to keep them dry while you are putting the chains on. Also there is an extra pair of links so in the unlikely event that you break a chain you can fix it rather easily. Also there is a kneeling mat so you do not get your knees wet while you go ahead and install the chains. A few quick notes about these. It does feature color-coded connection points to ease installation. A plastic-covered cable runs from behind the tire to allow you to move the chain without moving the car. The links themselves are a dual-sided D-shape that provides greater traction. And also this will not mess up anything with anti-lock brake systems or electronic stability control systems. It is really designed for passenger-type vehicles. We will go ahead and show you how it fits and how it installs on a typical tire. more

Today we are going to show you part number TH01584225. What this is, is a Thule Tire Chain Kit. Today we are going to be demonstrating this product on a tire size 265-70R16. What is really nice about this tire chain kit is it does not require you to drive over a chain, so it simply wraps around the tire. Connect a few easy connection points and then just go ahead and drive off, with this easy-to-use, self-tensioning system. As you can see here, we have our tire chain laid out. And as you tell, there is one end that is labeled yellow. And what will happen is that end will get put behind this tire and will meet up to the other end that is blue. Next you will see the chains themselves. They actually come around over across the top of the tire. Then, once you get them across the top of the tire, you will link the small hooks and small red links together. There is one on each end of the chains, at the very end. In the middle, you will see a tensioning cable that actually will be connected back to the other Thule tensioning device, back on the right side. We will actually go ahead and install it and show you how it works. more
