Wiring Harness Installation - 2001 Toyota Rav4

Today we are going to install part number 33465 from Hoppy, and we are going to install it on a 2001 Toyota Rav4. All right, to begin with we need to get inside the vehicle and we need to take off the plastic panels on the inside. I am going to take up this carpet and this panel also. We will just push that back for now. And this trim panel, it comes off also. And the next thing we need to do is take off this panel here. We need to loosen it so we can get behind the tail light assembly. We will take off this screw here, and then we will undo this screw here to take off this buckle so that gives you easier work room to pull off the plastic. Also, behind this panel there might be a screw that you might need to take out too. We will take off this panel here for a little bit extra room, too. more

The wiring plugs for this T connector are going to be located behind the plastic here. You can either: a, access them behind the tail light or take off the tail light and get to them that way and run them straight down. Or, in this case, we are going to go behind the plastic and install everything on the inside. First off, we are going to go ahead and take off the thresh hold right here so we can take out the side panels. Alright, undo a couple of screws for the panels. Take off this panel here and there is an additional screw back here you can loosen the panel, the whole rear interior quarter panel with. more

Wiring Harness Installation - 2000 Toyota Tacoma

This part number will fit 1995-1/2 - 2004 Toyota Tacomas and 1985-1995 Toyota pickups. The first steps involved is taking off the taillight assemblies. Well put them off to the side and then run our wiring inside. We will start on the drivers side first and work our way to the passengers side. Well disconnect the taillight by unplugging this electrical plug here. We will set the taillight assembly off to the side. What were going to do now is install the left hand part of the harness. Were going to follow this harness down through the body and follow that route and we will come back with this part with the yellow wire back up the same way. We will T it off here and well make a couple more connections. Now we will take our ground wire and run it the same way, we will overlap it and ground it to this piece of steel here. more

Today we are going to install part number 118304 from Tow Ready. On a 2008 on a Toyota Sienna Mini Van. The first thing we are going to do is remove the tail lights. We will start on the passenger side then work our way over to the driver side. To remove the tail light we have to push down on this pin and pull the connector out. We will go ahead and do the same thing for the other side. The next thing we need to do is to remove this trim panel here. There are 3 of these latches we have to remove all the way across from left to right. Once we have those 3 latches removed we can now take off this back part of trim panel. You have to pry it out and lift it up at the same time and it will come loose. Now at this point we need to pull this panel away. more

Wiring Harness Installation - 2006 Toyota Highlander

Today we are going to do an install of part number 118248 the T One connector from Tow Ready. It will be installed on our 2006 Toyota Highlander. To get to our access point which is about down here and underneath this panel. So we will have to roll back the carpeting and pull up the tray and gain access that way. Once you get everything out of the way it is pretty clear that this is the plug right here for the harness. So our T connector can plug right into here. Then our ground wire will actually mount to this ground bolt right here. We took our ground bolt out and we will simply install our ground wire here and run it back through there and install it. Next we will install the module box itself using the self adhesive tape that is on the backside of the connector. more
