Today on this 2010 Mazda CX-7 we will be installing wiring harness part number 118249. The port that we are going to be plugging into is actually located on the passenger side behind the interior panel right behind this access point in here so pull this panel back. Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2004 Mazda Tribute - Video
Today we are going to install part number 119175 from Tow Ready, and we are going to install this on a 2004 Mazda Tribute. What is going to happen is we are going to have to get behind the tail lights. We are going to attach four wires and a ground on the drivers side, and then run the passengers side wire underneath the bumper and then up to the other tail light. So we will go ahead and begin by taking off the tail lights of the vehicle. OK, for now we will just go ahead and disconnect the tail lights. What we are going to do first is actually install the ground screw into the sheet metal right here, and then we will use that for a ground for our tester. Then we will go ahead and start testing the wire functions. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2011 Mazda CX-7 - Video
Today on this 2011 Mazda CX-7, we will be installing wiring harness part number 118249. We are in the rear cargo area of the CX-7 and we are going to go ahead and locate the tow package port that we are going to be plugging our wiring harness into. The port is located behind the passenger side interior panel, basically directly behind the taillight assembly. There is an access door here that we can remove to expose this port. If you look right here, taped to the main wiring harness lead, this open ended port is our tow package port. The 4-pole end of the wiring harness is intended to go inside the vehicle. So we will need to get it routed down below the threshold piece here so that it can store in the storage compartment here. 0:44 more
