Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 1999 Lexus RX300 - Video

Today we are going to show you how to do a hardwire install on a 1999 Lexus RX300. We will be installing part number 118176 by Modulite. We will also be using the accompanying Modulite wiring kit part number 118151. To begin our install what we are going to do is take apart the plastic on the inside of the vehicle. It is pretty time consuming but it is very easy to do if you just take your time. So we will open up the trunk and get inside. We start by taking apart the trunk liner and getting down to where the spare tire is. Also take out the side pockets there is one on each side. We are going to use that for access so that it can fit into our wiring harness. We will have to take off our tail lights to test and see what wire does what. Now we still have to take these 2 pockets out to get to our wiring harness and make it a little easier to get too. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2007 Lexus RX350 - Video

Today on this 2007 Lexus RX350 we are going to be installing the 4-pole harness part number 18002. The Lexus that we are going to show you today has a unique situation to it. On our website we indicate the wiring for the Lexus is going to be the modulite part number 119176. This particular Lexus does have a factory installed tow package that we are going to be able to tap into so we are going to show you how to locate that. The port is located in the rear cargo area of the vehicle underneath the flooring over on the driver side. We are going to need to remove most of this interior section. There is a particular order of operations that we need to abide by to get all of the components out. 00:38 more
