Today we are going to install part number 118307 on our Kia Sorrento, 2005 model. And we will show you how it plugs in. To install the part, it is a pretty simple device. There is an actual port for a towing package on the passengers side frame rail, right here. And all you have got to do, basically, is just pull off the cap. Push in this little button in and the cap comes out, and the T-1 connector actually just plugs right back in there. And at this point, you just route the T-1 however you want. Tie off the converter box in a safe location, and then just run your wires out to your hitch. more

Today we are going to install part number 118307 on our 2005 Kia Sorrento. Installing the part is pretty simple. There is actually a port for a towing package on the passenger side frame rail, right here, and all you have to do basically is pull off the cap and push this little button in and the cap comes out. The T1 connector connector actually just plugs right back in there. At this point you just route the T1 how ever you want, tie off the converter box in a safe location. Then just run your wires out to your hitch. It looks like a good spot actually is right above the spare tire rack here. So what we will do is just put it to the top of it right here. Make sure you have plenty of room with your spare tire. Then we will run our zip tie across the top of it and through the wires. The next thing we can do is run our wire to the other side and we will just bundle it up and just go ahead and zip tie it to the top of the hitch here. That would be safe and out of the way. Get yourself so extra long zip ties and just run it across with one on each side. At this point you can mount your 4 pole connector to a bracket that will mount to your factory bracket on the hitch. Then you just simply zip tie it in place or add a different type of connector for here. That concludes our install of part number 118307 from Tow Ready, the T1 connector. more

Today were going to show you a popular upgrade. We have here a four pole flat that has been installed on a vehicle. The owner has a boat trailer now and it has a five wire flat. So were going to convert that four wire to a five wire flat. We will show you how to deal with part number 20036 which is the adapter itself, and the bracket which is part number 20046. Our first step we need to do is take off the four pole and then well uninstall the bracket and put in the new bracket. It may take some force, but you have to pull to get this out of here. We actually used a rubber mallet to tap it a little bit, now this bracket can come off which we have previously loosened up. Now well install our new bracket and it will go in the same spot as before. What were going to do next is get our four pole ready which we have cleaned out with WD-40 and then were going to put in some dielectric grease. Well put that inside here and then were going to attach our four pole from our adapter inside there. more

Today we are going to do an install with part number 118431 from Tow Ready. We are going to install this T-One Connector on a 2007 Kia Rondo. Our first couple steps are to open up the trunk and we need to remove both tail lights. This is the point right here where the T1 will make the connection. Now we will just take it apart so we can take the light off. We are going to go ahead and do this for the other side also. We will go ahead and make our connection point on the driver side then we will push the rest of this down through the opening and come out down towards the bottom. We will go ahead next and install our ground wire here. At this point we can actually reconnect our light on the drivers side. more
