Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2007 Hyundai Sonota - Video
This part also fits 2007 Hyundai Elantra. The first thing we need to do is open the trunk and take apart some of the interior lining. First well show you one of the access points for the wiring on the passengers side. Just take off this cover here, it unscrews, comes down, and its kind of hard to see but right here at this point is where we take apart the harness and install the T-1 connector. Simply push that button in and it comes apart. Before we can make our connection this panel has to come off and this panel here has to come off because we have to run the wire harness all the way across to the other side. To take off this panel here, theres one plastic rivet on each side of the panel. Once you get those taken out, gently pull up on it on both sides and maybe under here with a pry tool and the whole thing comes apart like that. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe - Video
Today on this 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe, we are going to install part number 118415 from Tow Ready. This T1 connector will actually install behind the tail lights, so everything will be stored inside when we are done. So that means we have to get inside the vehicle and take apart some panels, so we can install the wiring. Let us open our lid here, that can stay and this tray has to come off also. We are going to take off the threshold by the latch. And we also have to loosen both panels on the side of the vehicle behind the tail lights. :49 more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation- 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe - Video
Today on this 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe we are going to be installing wiring harness part number 118473 from Tow Ready. The first thing we are going to do is clean out our trunk and remove the threshold cover and cargo trays. To remove the threshold here we are going to have to remove these screws t hat are holding it in position along with the 10 millimeter bolt in the center. Then we will pop the rivets off. :30 more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2006 Hyundai Elantra - Video
Today we are going to install part number 119175 from Tow Ready and we are going to install this circuit protected tail light harness on to a 2006 Hyundai Elantra. To do our wiring we are going to have to get inside the trunk and we are going to have to tap in behind the tail lights on both sides. What we are going to do is go ahead and take off this panel behind the tail lights and this will give us access to the wire harness. These are the wires we are going to be connecting to. We are going to hide everything into the interior panel here so all of this is going to come loose or off and go all the way across and do the same thing to the passenger side. Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe - Video
Today we are going to be installing wiring harness part number 118415 on a 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe. We are in the rear cargo area of the vehicle. The Wiring Harness plugs in behind each the driver and the passenger-side panels here. To make it a little bit easier to get to and to also route the wire from one side to the other, we are going to need to not only pull back the interior panels but to remove some of the bottom threshold pieces as well. With the rear threshold piece removed, we can go ahead and undo the Phillips head screws here. They are holding the interior panels on. We are going to remove our hedge cover. And with that pulled back again you can see the plug a little bit better there. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2006 Hyundai Sonata - Video
Today we are going to install part number 118433 from Tow-Ready on our 2006 Hyundai Sonata. The wiring connection points are right behind the tail lights here behind this access panel. And right behind here is the connection point. Take that apart, and the T-1 connector fits in there. You have to route from one side to the other, so this panel has to come loose, this panel has to come loose, and also this panel on the other side will have to come loose. We will take apart our connection point here. We will install the T-1 connector. The yellow side will go to the drivers side. We will install that, and then the factory wire will plug onto the other side on the T-connector. And we have a ground wire here. We will attach that to the factory ground right here. Next, the red wire here will run across to the passengers side of the vehicle. This wire here will get zip-tied to the wire harness going back across. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe - Video
Today we are going to be installing wiring harness part number 118473 on a 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe. Taking a look at the wiring harness, you can see we have got two main ports coming off of the Modulite box. We have got one with the yellow and brown wires. That one is going to connect behind the drivers side tail light assembly. The other connector, with the green and red wires, is going to be connected behind the passengers side tail light assembly. We have also got a white terminal here on the drivers side connector. That is for the ground, securing that to a metal surface. The black box in the middle is our converter box. And then, coming off the other end, we have got our 4-pole connector. And that will be staying inside the vehicle in this application. more
