Wiring Harness Installation - 2009 Buick Enclave

Today on this 2009 Buick Enclave we will be installing wiring harness part number 118450. The connection points for our wiring harness are located directly behind the tail light assemblies on both of the drivers and passengers sides. So the first thing we need to do is go ahead and remove both of those. And that will expose the two screws that are holding the tail light onto the vehicle. We will go ahead and remove those. We will just gently pull away the tail light connector that we are going to be connecting our harness into located right here. We want to go ahead and press the tab here at the top of the connector. And that will allow us to pull the two pieces apart. I am going to set the tail light aside for the time being. We will take the harness here and we will start with the connectors that have the yellow and brown wires on it. more

Wiring Harness Installation - 2005 Buick Tarazza

Today we are going to install part number 118396 from Tow Ready. We are going to install this T-1 harness on a 2005 Buick Tarazza. And also, we are going to use a bracket, part number 118144. First we will install our bracket. It is going to install to the factory bracket that is on the hitch. Now this bracket here, it can be installed like this on the hitch. Or, if you did not have a bracket on the hitch, you could easily attach this to the bumper. We will go ahead and start installing our T-1 connector. And we do have to get the tail lights off the vehicle, so we have to open up the back hatch to get to the screws to take off the tail lights. We will take off these two screws right here and then we just pop the whole assembly off. Once you have the tail light loose, go ahead and disconnect it from the wire harness. It is this connection right here you want to take apart. And then go ahead and repeat the same steps for the other side. more
