Today we are going to show you part number CR-607 from Bully. This is the ball mount hitch light. What this device does is it is a great idea for when you are hitching up to your trailer at night time, it throws an additional light on your hitch and trailer so you can see what you are doing. This mounts easily to any two inch ball mount. You do not have to remove it when you are towing also. It just stays in the same place. You can have it light up with the reverse light on your vehicle or you can optionally wire it to a 12 volt power supply on your vehicle, like the battery, and activate it with the on and off switch behind the lights themselves. more

Today we are going to show you a couple of different bumper guards. We are going to show you part numbers 80400, and these are both from Tow Ready, and this is the steel one with the hammered finish, and we also are going to show you part number 80470, also from Tow Ready, and that is the diamond-plate, aluminum one that you see here. All you need the item to do is fit between your ball mount and the ball itself. The idea behind these is that, if you have got your ball mount in the rise position, and yet the ball situated in front of the license plate, this will actually protect it from getting damaged. OK, what we will do next is go ahead and install one of these on a typical ball mount and give you a good idea of how it works and how it looks. more

This ball mount is designed to tow and carry accessories such as bicycle racks and cargo carriers at the same time with a trailer. Now well show you proper usage. It simply installs into the hitch like any other ball mount and you can add you accessories on top of that. One thing we should note about the ball mount part of this device is this shank is a one inch shank that uses a variety of ball mounts. Just remember that the towing capacity of this draw bar is only 5,000 pounds with 500 pounds tongue weight. Now well show you how a bicycle rack will reside on top of the ball. As you can see this is a versatile ball mount, you can use two things at the same time. Just a couple things you want to make sure of before you use this ball mount. On the tongue rating, you only have 500 pounds of tongue weight, make sure your hitch can carry that amount and make sure that your trailer and your bicycle rack with the bicycles on does not go over 500 pounds. This is part # V75090, the multi-purpose ball mount from Valley. more

This part is rated for 300 pounds tongue weight and a maximum trailer weight of 3,000 pounds. Also this part does come with the additional pin and clip for your class I or II applications. What this does is convert your 1 1/4 receiver hitch so you can use 2 inch receiver accessories. Well demonstrate how this works by using a 1 1/4 inch receiver hitch here. You really want to use a class II receiver hitch, a class I is no good as these accessories cut your weight capacity by half. For example if you have a 350 pound tongue weight hitch, the adapter bar will cut it down to 175 pounds. As you can see we already have it installed here, and your hitch is ready for any 2 inch accessory, for example cargo carriers and bicycle racks. That finishes it for part # 80303, the Hidden Hitch adapter bar. more

This part converts your 2 inch receiver down to a 1 1/4 inch receiver. It adapts for bicycle racks, cargo carriers and possibly ball mounts. Well install this on our two inch receiver hitch and show you how it sits in there. As you can see it sticks out from the hitch which may be an advantage to you have a hitch assist bar back underneath the bumper to give you enough clearance for additional accessories such as a bike rack, cargo carrier or ballmount. Well show you a couple of measurements on this which may be help you determine if you can use to your advantage. Our first measurement will be from pin hole to pin hole which looks like 6 3/4 inches. This product converts your 1 1/4 inch receiver hitch up to a 2 inch receiver hitch for certain applications such as cargo carriers or bike racks. Well show you how it gets installed on the hitch, its pretty simple. It just plugs in like so, install your pin and clip and youre good to go. A couple of things you want to take note of, the adapter itself is rated at 350 pounds of tongue weight. However, when its plugged into your hitch you want to limit your hitch to about 175 pounds tongue weight. Basically it cuts it in half. So if you have 350 pounds of tongue weight originally, with this adapter its going to cut it in half to about 175 pounds of tongue weight to deal with. Typical applications of this are bike racks, two inch cargo carriers will work on this, however you want to be careful how much weight you put on there. That pretty much covers it for part number HTAD, the 1 1/4 inch to 2 inch adapter bar. more

Today well show you the installation and typical use of this product. Its a pretty easy deal, it does require one other component, you have to supply the ball mount for it because it does not come with that. Hopefully you can use your existing ballmount and well show you how it works. Well start off with ing our ballmount into the two step and then its a simple matter of tightening the bolts down. First well prepare our bolts, just take your bolt here run a nut on there which will be the jam nut. Now well our lock washer on there and well do the same for the other one. These bolts will get stuck in the other side of the two step here and push against the ballmount to hold it in place. Now take a wrench and snug them up, after that take the jam nuts and well cinch those tight to keep the bolts from coming out. more

We have part # CR-605 which were going to show you some of the aspects of that. As you can see this tube cover is convertible from a 2 inch to 1-1/4 inch receiver hitches. As you can see on the right here we have a sleeve that will convert it up to 2 inch receiver. Also you can see it has three positions for adjustablility. So depending on the space between your hitch and bumper, you can extend it out to have clearance or push it all the way in if you can. Also this tube cover comes with a wedge which gets adhered to the shank and it keeps it from rattling on a looser fitting hitch. Some will require this bushing while others will not. Well now show you how this looks on a typical hitch. Now well show you how the bush gets typically used. Now well cover part # CR-605LED, with this step unit you can actually see one additional feature: it has a row of LED lights. more

This is the easy way to align your truck and trailer with a fifth wheel, goose neck or a tag along hitch. Well show you how these units work starting on an actual truck and trailer. What this product does is that the base of it has a magnet installed on the bottom. One gets mounted onto the vehicle and the other onto your hitch. On the vehicle well install one just behind the hitch ball itself. The second one will be installed as far forward as possible. Next we raise them up to an equal height so we can see them from the inside of the truck. Once we have them even in line, we can simply back up our truck to our trailer and once they touch well know theyre aligned. At this point we have it pretty close, it may take a little practice at it, but once we get this close we can remove the device and hitch up our trailer. There you have it for part # 53410 Two Balls and Sticks, from Reese Tow Power, the Solo Hitch. more
