EGR Bug Shield Installation - 2002 Chevy Trailblazer - Video

Today we are going to install a bug shield on a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer and we are going to be using part number 321251 bug shield accessory for your vehicle. And now we will get started on showing you how it gets installed. Once you have your hood open, the first thing you want to do with your bug shield is go ahead and put it up there and give it a good test fit. Get a feel for how it is going to mount up, find the locations of the mounting holes, and get a good idea of what is going on. Once you figure out how the bug shield is going to install, go ahead and install the hardware. We will show you how that works next. Once you have the hardware installed on the hood we will loosely attach our bug shield. The hardware will just simply screw into the plastic blocks in the hood. Once we have our bug shield loosely installed, we will lower the hood and slide it back and forth in a way where it is centered on the hood the way you want it. more

EGR Bug Shield Installation - 2010 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 Series - Video

Today on this 2010 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 Series HD, we are going to be installing EGR bug shield part number 301401. When installing our bug shield, the first thing we need to do is go ahead and open up the hood. The bug shield is going to attach to the underside of the hood, using the existing holes. If you look here at the rear side and follow along the edge, you can see we have 5 existing holes here that we are going to use as our attaching points to our bug shield. With the existing holes located in the hood we can go ahead and start installing our bug shield. :32 more
