Today we are going to be installing a wiring harness 118369 which will fit 1999 to 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee. We are inside the back hatch now of the Grand Cherokee. There are also going to be 3 screws we are going to have to remove to access the wiring harness. You need to remove this screw here on the threshold. Both of these screws are here for the cargo tie down. Both of which need to be removed also. With these 3 screws removed we want to go ahead and remove this whole interior panel here. Besides the screws there are push rivet fasteners that are all inside here and along the inside of the side pieces as well. So we need to gain access to the interiors so we need to pop this side off. Go ahead and remove the bottom cargo tray to give us a little more room to work. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2000 Chevrolet Express Van - Video
Today on this 2000 Chevrolet Express Van, full size, 3500 series, we are going to install part number 118240 from Tow Ready. Our wiring connection points are roughly around behind the tail light area. This is going to be one on each side. We are going to have to get behind the panels right here to get somewhere in this vicinity. It has got some special clips on the inside so be careful when you take them apart so they do not break because they will break kind of easy. To get these loose, what you want to do is kind of pry it out a little this way on the base putting some tension against it and then use the screwdriver and push the tab in a little and then it will pop right out. 00:38 more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2002 Honda Civic - Video
Today on this 2002 Honda Civic we are going to be installing wiring harness 119176KIT. The first thing we have to do is clean out the trunk so we can access our tail lights but we are going to do that by removing the bottom carpet and then we are going to fold back the side carpet here to access our tail lights. We are going to take out these plastic screw rivets here and that should be the only one we need to remove on the driver side. Just pull back the trunk liner. You can see we have access to our tail lights on the driver side. Now with this wiring harness there is no T-Connector so we are going to have to splice into the existing wire for our harness to work. First we are going to run in ground using the existing wire and the self taping screw. We are just going to drill it into the sheet metal so we have a solid ground to work off of when we are testing our wires. 00:55 more

Today on this 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee we are going to be installing wiring harness part number 118394. Okay, we are at the rear of the Grand Cherokee here and we are going to go ahead and locate the ports that we are going to be plugging our wiring harness into. these ports are located directly behind the taillights on both sides of the vehicle. So, the first thing that we need to do is go ahead and remove both taillights. To do that, we need to remove the inboard screws that are holding it into place. There are two on each taillight. With those screws removed we can just kind of gently rock it back and forth to release the outboard side clips that are also holding the taillight into place. And with that pulled back, you can see on the back side of the taillight here is the port that we are going to need to disconnect and plug our harness in line to. And then for clarity, I am also going to remove this fasteners here at the bottom side of the wiring harness so I can set my taillight off to the side. 1:08 more

We are in the rear cargo area of the vehicle and the port that we are going to be plugging our harness into is located right behind here behind the rear threshold closer to the driver side. So we need to remove some pieces to gain access to that. Start by removing the carpeting here from the cargo area and also the rear cargo door. We want to remove the rear threshold piece here as well. We also need to remove the screws from the tie downs here and here. Take a flathead screwdriver or a rivet tool and just get that in there and kind of gently pry back to release the clips here on the interior. When you are trying to remove the interior panel here you actually need to pull out first because you need to release the sockets that are actually in to the metal on the interior. Get that out of there. 01:22 more
