Today on this 2006 Kia Sedona we will be installing Hidden Hitch part number 70761. This hitch installation will also apply to Draw-Tite hitch part number 75421. We are underneath the vehicle and the first thing we want to do over here on the passenger side frame rail is to go ahead and lower the exhaust down to get it out of our way. We are going to be removing the exhaust off of its rear most hanger which you can find right here and we can simply unbolt it from the frame there are two bolts there. 00:27 more

Okay today, on this 2007 Kia Sorento, we are going to install part number 87425 from Hidden Hitch. This also applies to Draw-Tite part number 75516. First we will go ahead and show you where the hitch mounts up on the frame. It is actually going to mount up on the side of the frame using these threaded holes that are already in here. All right, it is going to be the same thing on the other side of the vehicle on the driver side except the muffler is going to be a little bit in the way. Most of the time you can work your way around it. If you need to, it might be a good idea just to pull it out a ways while you do your work. Okay, the first thing we are going to do is go ahead and inspect the thread. more

Today we are going to be installing Hidden Hitch part number 70761 on a 2008 Kia Sedona van. This application will also apply for Draw-Tite hitch part number 75421. OK, we are underneath the vehicle now and we are actually looking at the drivers side frame rail. We are going to go ahead and point out the mounting location for the trailer hitch. You can see we have three existing weld nuts here at the bottom of the frame, and those are going to provide the three attaching points for the trailer hitch. We will be using the 12-mm bolts, along with the conical-tooth washer, in each of those locations on both the drivers side and the passengers side frame rails. more

Today we are going to be installing Hidden Hitch part number 70761 on a 2008 Kia Sedona minivan. This application will also apply to Draw-Tite part number 75421. OK, we are underneath the vehicle, and we are looking at the drivers side frame rail. As you can see we have got three existing weld nuts here at the bottom of the frame, and these are going to provide our three attaching points for both sides of the vehicle. Also, here on the passengers side you can see our exhaust is in the way, so we are going to need to remove it off of its rear-most hanger. To remove the exhaust down, you can either remove it off of its rubber hanger or you can simply unbolt it from the bottom of the frame. more

Today we are going to install part number 11110 from Curt, and we are going to install this on a 2010 Kia Soul. What is going to happen is, the hitch is going to install in the bottom of the frame, where this tow hook is right here. This hook is going to be removed, and it is going to use this bolt here and another bolt on the other side. And also there are two bolts on the back side of this, alongside of the frame, that the hitch will bolt onto there. There are going to be four on the passengers side. On the outboard side of the frame, on the drivers side, where we are looking here, there are two threaded holes there. Also, to install the hitch, we are going to have to lower the exhaust, too. Disconnect this rubber hanger right here, and this rubber hanger here, and that will disconnect those and now we can lower the exhaust and thus we can have some good working room. more

Today we are going to install part number 87425 from Hidden Hitch, and we are going to install this on a 2006 Kia Sorento. First step, we will go ahead and take down this rubber exhaust hanger. Just spray it down with some lubricant and we will just take a pry bar and just kind of pry it off of it. Sometimes these threads in here will get clogged up with dirt and rust and whatnot. It is a good idea to spray them down with some WD-40 and then clean them out, and then run your bolts in and out to help clean it out. more

Today we are going to be installing hitch part number 90170 from Hidden Hitch on a 2007 Kia Amanti. We are underneath the vehicle, and we are going to go ahead and point out the mounting locations for the trailer hitch. The center attaching point will be here on the tow loop, and we are going to be using the U-bolt over that position to hold the hitch in the center. And then over here on the outboard side of the frame rail, you can see we have got an existing weld nut on both the drivers and passengers side. That will provide our frame attaching points for the hitch as well. We are going to go ahead and support the center exhaust tube before removing the hangers, because once they are lowered, they may let the exhaust too much, which could possibly damage it. I am just going to take a basic tow strap and just hook it around the main cross tube here, just to give it that extra support. And when we remove the hangers, again we just want to go ahead and spray them down first with a spray lubricant, like a WD-40, and pull the rubber away from the hanger. And then next I am just going to go ahead and remove the hangers off of the frame. Again, this is just going to give us more room to get the hitch up into position. more

Today we are going to be installing hitch part number 90186 from Hidden Hitch on a 2000 Kia Sportage. This installation will also apply to Draw-Tite part number 36266. We are underneath the vehicle now, and we are going to go ahead and point out the attaching points for the hitch. Looking at the passengers side frame rail, you can see there is a hole here on the inboard side of the frame. That is going to provide the forwardmost attaching point. And then, on this tow hook here, we are actually going to drill a hole and make that the second attaching point. more

Today we are going to install part number 24797 on our 2007 Kia Rondo. This also applies to part number 60874. Before we start our install anything we have to lower the exhaust right here. That requires taking off the rubber hanger here and the one on the backside here and there is one more towards the front. We installed this strap here so that when we bring the exhaust down it will be held in place by the straps. What we will do is spray the hangers with WD40 so that they slide off the exhaust a little easier. The other item here is the shipping bracket right here. It has to come off and stay off for the hitch install. What we need to do is take off these bolts on the end of the frame rail of these 2 and the bottom one on the drivers side. more
