Today on this 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe we are going to install part number 75471 from Draw-Tite. And this will also apply to part number 87414 from Hidden Hitch. I will go ahead and show you where the hitch mounts up on the vehicle. This is actually relatively easy although you do want to have an extra set of hands when you put it up there. It is going to install in these two holes at the end of the frame right here. This is a new vehicle so the threads are relatively clean however if you have an older vehicle what you want to do is go ahead and clean out those threads just to make sure. This is going to be identical on both sides of the vehicle. We do not even have to take down the exhaust either. All right we have got the threads cleaned out. We can go ahead and put the hitch up into position. Again it is a good idea to have and extra set of hands to hold it up. 00:37 more

Today we are going to be installing Valley hitch part number V82753 on a 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe. Okay we are underneath the vehicle and we are taking a look at the passenger-side frame rail. As you can see here at the end we have two existing weld nuts that do not have any bolts or anything in them. Those will be our attaching points for our trailer hitch. It is going to be the same on the drivers side as well. more

Today we are going to be installing Hidden Hitch part number 87419 on a 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe. This hitch application will also apply for Draw-Tite part number 41543. Looking underneath the vehicle, we have gone ahead and removed the spare tire to get it out of the way. Looking at the drivers side frame rail, you can see we have got a bolt here at the end of the frame and three bolts that are attaching the tow hook to the frame, and then an extra weld nut here. Those are going to provide all of our attaching points here on the drivers side. more

Today we are going to install part number 24703 from Draw-Tite, and we are going to install this hitch on a 2006 Hyundai Elantra. All right, looking on the bottom of the vehicle, looking up on the passengers side, you will see the bolt that is in the frame the hitch will attach at that point right there. This hitch does not come with new bolts to replace the existing factory bolts. It will be just like that on the passengers side and on the drivers side. We are also going to use the center tow loop on the trunk pan here, too. We will use that for an attachment point. more

Today we are going to install part number 12086 from Curt, and this is a 1-1/4 inch receiver hitch. And we are going to install this on a 2009 Hyundai Genesis. First off, we will show you where the hitch mounts up on the frame. We are looking underneath the passengers side of the vehicle, and we are up by the exhaust and heat shield. That little flat spot between the two is where the hitch actually mounts up on the frame. What is going to happen is, we are going to have to lower the exhaust out of the way. Then we take the heat shield down, and then we are going to put our hitch up into position. We are going to mark our holes to mount it with and then take it back down. Then we will drill out hour holes, install our hardware, and put everything back together - plus making a cutout for the exhaust shield. And this is going to be identical on both sides of the vehicle. more

Today we are going to be installing hitch part number 90621 from Hidden Hitch on a 2007 Hyundai Tucson. This installation will also apply to Draw-Tite part number 36363. All right, we are underneath the rear of the vehicle, and we are going to go ahead and point out the mounting location for the trailer hitch. The first thing we are going to need to do is to lower the exhaust to gain access to both frame rails. In order to do that, we need to remove the exhaust off of - there are three hangers that we are going to need to be removing it from. There are two here on the drivers side. You can see here: one and two. And on the passengers side, there is one here as well. And you can see here on the passengers side, as well, there is a tow hook, and the hitch is actually going to be using the two rearmost bolts as their attaching point. So in order to do that we are going to need to remove the tow hook. more

Today we are going to install part number 11325 from Curt. And we are going to install this on a 2006 Hyundai Sonata. The first step involved is to go ahead and lower the exhaust. We also just added a strap to keep the exhaust from coming down too far, and if we have to we can actually lower this a little easier with the strap. Also, we sprayed down the rubber hangers with some WD-40 to help loosen them up a little bit. On the last one here we are just going to take out this bolt here. What you want to do is spray this down pretty good with WD-40 and let it soak a little bit, because these bolts that sit out underneath the vehicle are prone to freezing up. more

Alright, today we are going to install part number 75471 from Draw-Tite and we will be installing this on a 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe. This also applies to hidden hitch number 87414. It is a relatively easy hitch to install. It attaches at 2 points right here, at these 2 threaded holes inside the frame. They are going to be identical on both sides of the vehicle. So first thing we will want to do, even though this is a new vehicle, is take some time out to run the bolts in and out just to make sure that you do not have any dust or road grime in there. more

This will also apply to Reese part # 44537 and Hidden Hitch part # 70761. The first step that needs to be taken is to pull the exhaust out of the way in this case we tied it off and pulled it to the side. You can also pull off the rubber exhaust hanger and get the same effect. This van has threaded holes already in the frame and well use three of them on each side. While youre here you might want to take a few minutes to clean out the threads to just to make sure everything will thread in okay. At this point we can start installing the hitch. What were going to do on the passenger side is slide the hitch over the exhaust to hold up that side while we put up the drivers side to keep things steady. We pulled our exhaust back out of the way and now well start our first bolt on the passengers more

This install will also cover Draw-Tite part # 24757. The first step involved is gaining access to your vehicle, the second step is we can hang the hitch on the tie down loop in the center of the vehicle. This will hold the hitch up while we get the other bolts in. Go ahead and snug up the bolts, but make sure the hitch can still move about. The reason why I left the hitch loose is so we can move this hitch around so we can get to our mounting hole, which is right here. That we way we can move it around and get our hitch in the right spot and put our bolt in. Again we follow the same principles on the other side, you leave it loose so we can move it around, get a good idea of where its supposed to go and thread your bolt in. Snug the bolts down as tight as you can with your fingers then snug it up with a wrench more
