Today we are going to show you the locking kit for a Sport Rack bicycle rack. Its part number is A32022. We will show you how it installs and works. First step involved in installing this product is to simply take the cable and insert it down the middle part, and then we will insert the locking pin. Once you have your pin in, we will go ahead and install the clip to hold the pin in place. Once you have that installed, the locking kit is basically ready to go. Simply wrap it around the bikes and lock it back on to the pin. Then to unlock it, it is simply reversing the procedure. The second half of this lock kit will actually physically lock the bicycle rack to your hitch so it will definitely not go anywhere. It installs like the original hitch pin, which it replaces. Then the lock snaps over it. That is all it takes to lock down your bicycle rack and your bikes. more

This lock is for carrier to receiver security. Well show you how it assembles first, then well show you the lock applied to a bicycle rack. Before we can install the lock, there is a little bit of assembly required. First you have to open the hatch so we can the core, then you take off the back plug, and then we take our core and put our pass key in. After the core is secure, test the lock with the other set of keys. Now well try it on the pin. Since we have a bike rack installed on our two inch receiver, well show you how this works. Basically theres a lock washer that goes on first, then the flat washer. This is just like a regular nut and bolt assembly. Go ahead and install it to your bicycle rack. The kit provides you with a tool to snug it down with. Then we install the lock on the other side. There you have it, even if they unthread the bolt, they still have to get through the lock and they can not get the rack off. There you have it for part # STL2, the snug tite lock from Thule. more

This is a cable and ballmount lock set for 1-1/4 inch trailer hitch receivers. What this lock does is attach to your bicycle rack through your receiver and also the cable lock attaches your bike to the receiver and the bikes themselves. We have our example here of a typical hitch and a bicycle rack assembly. What we will go over is what the actual parts replace on the hitch. First we will demonstrate how the lock itself works. The lock will replace the pin here and it is a pretty simple device. Basically you hold the key stationary, and you can take the black part here and spin it. It comes apart and then just replace your hitch pin. And then you just reverse the procedure until it stops and then turn it backwards, maybe a quarter to half turn until the key comes loose. Then you put the cap back on and your bicycle rack is secured onto your receiver hitch. Going next to the cable lock, it works the same way as a receiver lock does. more
