Todays product in the spotlight is part number 3774DAT from Master Lock, this keyed alike trailer lock set. As you can see this lock set comes with its own handy carrying case, with the three different locks in it and we will show you how it works. Basically, the kit comes with three different locks. We will show you the main lock that fits into the ball socket. We will show you that one first and how it works. To show the lock itself, it has three positions, obviously the locked position, then next of course is the unlocked position, and in the middle there is a setting here where you can actually ratchet down exactly to the space you want. Then you lock it and pull the key so you are set to go. Now we will show you on a few of our couplers how it works. We will use two completely different couplers to show you the versatility. Now we will show you on the other style coupler. There you have it installed. Now we will show you the lock for the latch part of your coupler. We will start by how it comes off, then we will put it back together on these two couplers here. more

As you can see the kit consists of three separate locks, one for the ball mount that goes in your hitch, this one goes in the trigger or the latch on your coupler, and this fits in the coupler itself. Starting off with the coupler lock, we will tell you how this works. You unlock it and this groove fits inside where the ball goes, so it can adjust to whatever thickness you have on the coupler. Get it the way you want it, then go ahead and lock it. We will put this on a few different couplers to show you how this works. We will start off with this 1-7/8 inch coupler, to use this lock it goes on like so, latch it down if you can, slide it forward, and lock it into place. Now we have this very popular coupler and we will show you the same thing. more

This is a hitch a trailer lock set and they are both keyed alike. This is for a 1 1/4 inch by 1 1/4 inch class II or class I receivers and the trailer lock fits lever style couplers with a 1/2 inch span. We will go ahead and show you the operation of the locks, it is pretty easy. You flip open the rubber cap and you take the key and you can twist it off with the key or you can hold the other side and it comes apart like so. Both units work the same way. We will go ahead and show them installed and show you how they look then. Here we have our common 1 1/4 inch receiver hitch and simply the bolt just goes right through to the other side. You put the lock on and just twist it together as far as it will go and back off a half or quarter turn and the key comes apart more

This is a dog bone style 5/8 receiver and coupler lock combo. The coupler lock itself covers a span of a 1/2 inch and fits most common trigger style couplers. We will show you the operation of these locks. You start off by taking off the rubber cap and a soda machine key, instead of a flat key, works it. Put the key in and turn it, you see the lock pops out and then the whole assembly comes apart like that. We have our 2 inch receiver here and we will show you how it looks installed. It simply just goes through in your ballmount and for this part here you can take the key out, push it on, and push the button and it is secure and can not go anywhere. We have the coupler lock here and the same thing applies, you take the cap off and turn so it comes apart. It will fit in this hole in the trigger latch, virtually all trigger latches have that hole. The lock goes in, you take the key out, it pops into place, you push the button, and you are set. There you have it for part # DBCL63. more
