Hey guys, its Matt Payne with Putco. I wanted to talk to you a little bit about the history of our company. What we are known for and where we are headed. It was the first company in the industry to have pattens on the original running board. The name of the company stands for Pickup Trailer Company. It was founded by a blacksmith who was making trailers and selling those. He bought a truck and his wife could not get into it, fabed up a running board and then got patents filed on it. For the last ten years outside of our stainless steel truck accessory core we have gotten into grill s that are clamp on style grills. We have also launched a full line of chrome trim accessory items that tape on to your vehicle mirror covers, door handle covers, and chrome accents all the way around the truck, car, or SUV. 00:45 more

AFE Air Filter Vendor Information - Video
Advanced Flow Engineering. It was founded in 1999. The company started making the air filters in 1999. We started producing just air filters, which is gauze, oiled filters, high flow. Kuat Vendor Information - Video
Kuat. It is the two founders of the companys last names put together, Kushmeter and Atkinson. Kuat was started by two good friends of mine, the owned a construction company together. They were also avid cyclists, when they were out riding they decided they were not happy with the bike racks that they were using, and they thought, hey no one is making a bike rack out of aluminum so they went down in the garage and started welding stuff together. :29 more

Swagman Vendor Information - Video
Swagman has been in business for about 20 years. We actually pioneered the hitch mounted bike rack industry. The company was started by a couple, their names were Jim and Jane Morris. Jim was in Australia and found the idea, and brought it back to North America. So in that time, the first 10 years, we were basically pioneering the whole hitch mounted idea of carrying a bike on the back of a vehicle. We always believed in it because first, it is more cost effective. It is cheaper to install a hitch and a bike rack then it is to do a full roof mount where you have to put load bars on and then buy four separate racks. :38 more

Thule Vendor Information - Video
Thule was founded in 1943 in Malma, Sweden as a metal fabrication company. It was a guy named Ake Skepner and Ake is A-K-E. And Ake was an exchange student in Minnesota. So loved the United States that he begged his father who was the owner of the company to come here and start a U.S. division of Thule and at that time wind surfing was very popular, so he came up with a wind surfing product and that is what launched Thule in the United States. So Ake established the company called Thule United States in New York City area and then eventually moved to Connecticut where they currently reside and Connecticut is manufacturing, sales, distribution, engineering, testing, and the U.S. market has been a great place for us ever since. 00:53 more
