Bull Ring Heavy Duty Retractable Anchors Installation - Video

Bull Ring Heavy Duty Retractable Anchors Installation

Today on this 2005 Ford F-150, we are going to be installing the Bull Ring Heavy Duty Retractable Anchors, part number EM4001. To install these retractable anchors we first need to locate our stake pockets on the vehicle. On this particular model we are only going to be installing 4 of the retractable anchors because we do have a tool box at the front. In fact you will notice on the Ford F-150 the stake pockets actually have covers on them, so we do need to remove those first. I am going to take a flat head screw driver and pop those right out. :26 more

Bestop BestRail Cargo Management System Review - Video

Bestop BestRail Cargo Management System Review

This is the BestRail Cargo Management System, and what this is is a very functional, flexible system that will allow you to add or subtract a lot of the accessories as needed. The BestRail System starts out here with a channel system that goes around the perimeter of the bed of the truck. And from that piece there, I can add or subtract depending on what my current needs are. The first thing that we have added today is the overhead rack system. And the overhead rack system comes with two parts. It allows me to go ahead and put lumber, ladders, etc., depending on what my needs are to carry out there. One big feature about this here is, we have a quick-release system. And these are ratchet-designed connectors here that hold the rear overhead rack in place. A nice thing I can do with that is I can either take it off in about 3 minutes, put it in my garage so I do not have the overhead rack. Or, I can go ahead and actually adjust this up anywhere here along this channel to give me the flexibility depending on what type of cargo I am carrying. more

Bully Pop Up Tie Down Review - Video

Bully Pop Up Tie Down Review

This is a really neat little device that installs in the stake bed pocket of your pickup truck and when you are not using it stays completely flat. We will go ahead and install this into the pocket on the bed rail here. You set it the way you want it and you simply tighten down the screws. There you have it, it is completely installed. Rail Kit Installation - 2004 Ford F-250 - Video

Rail Kit Installation - 2004 Ford F-250

All right, today on a 2004 Ford F-250 long bed, we are going to install BestRail kit part number 42730. One of the first things to do to prepare the rails is apply some camper tape to the bottom of them which is supplied with the kit. There are three rails we have to do this to. It is really simple. We will apply the tape to this edge here, over this gap, and onto this ridge right here. We will just work our way back all the way down. Repeat the same process on the other two rails. The next step is to slide three of the clamps into each one of the BestRail side rails. Using an 1/ 8 inch Allen wrench, we are going to install four of the 1/4 by 20 by 3/ 8 inch set screws in each of the corner brackets. Next we are going to go ahead and take the front BestRail and place it on the front rail of the truck bed. more

Hoppy Tailgate EasyLift Review - Video

Hoppy Tailgate EasyLift Review

Today we are going to show you part number 74211 from Hoppy. This is Hoppys Tailgate EasyLift. What this is, is a device that actually takes the weight off the tailgate and makes it easier to lift up and down. In most cases it will take up to 80 percent of the weight of the tailgate off your hands. It is actually pretty easy to install. As soon as you open it up you can see the instructions on what to do to install it. Basically you only have to drill two holes. One gets drilled into the tailgate itself and the other gets drilled into the truck bed itself. Most of the time on a tailgate you take two arms and you have got to really kind of push and shove it up in there. With the EasyLift it actually does not require that much effort at all. You can do it easily one-handed while probably carrying something in that arm, too. And also, when you let it down, it does not really flop down all that hard it actually has a controlled descent. And again, it just makes it smooth going up into the bed when you close it. And there you have it for part number 74211 from Hoppy, the Tailgate EasyLift. more

Bully Clamp-On Truck Bed Hooks Review

And you can actually put it basically anywhere along the edge of the rail, as long as you have access to it - as long as you do not have a tonneau cover or something like that in the way. We will show you how it goes on. It is not too bad. You can put the plate anywhere on your truck bed that you like. The plate goes behind it. And then you take the knob here and it screws everything together, and this clamps behind the truck bed. And when you have it set exactly where you want it, then you can go ahead and just tighten it down. more
