Today we will be showing you part number 5800800. This is the GearDeck 17 cargo carrier for 2 inch receiver hitches. The name says it all, as it carries up to 17 cubic feet of cargo, which can range from luggage to sports equipment to commercial trade equipment. The cargo carrier has easy access with rubber latches on either side. It also has a removable lid. Despite its lightweight, it is strong and durable with a weight capacity of 300 pounds. Today we are going to show you part number 830850. This the 20 by 60 folding cargo carrier for 2 inch trailer hitches from SportRack. The features of this are that it is powder coated to resist corrosion, it is 20 by 60 expanded steel mesh floor and the shank is angled up for better ground clearance. The side rails help keep cargo in place to provide tie down points and the carrier folds up when not in use. It fits 2 by 2 trailer hitch receivers. It has a weight capacity of 500 pounds. Today we are going to be showing you part number 6502, this is the 20x48 folding cargo carrier for 2 inch trailer hitch receivers, from Tow Ready. This cargo carrier will tilt up for easy storage. The carrier also has license plate relocation holes if the carrier obscures your license plate. For extra safety the cargo carrier includes reflector tape. This cargo carrier has 500 pounds of cargo capacity. It tilts up for easy installation and storage. It has a mesh floor for easy clean up and it has 3 inch high side rails to retain cargo. Today we are going to show you part number 59110 from Rola the tilting enclosed cargo carrier for 2 inch trailer hitches. What this is, is an enclosed cargo carrier working with a 2 inch receiver hitch. It also doubles as a regular cargo carrier. Plus the fact that as a regular cargo carrier, it can fold up and out of the way when you are not using it. We will go ahead and show you how it works. We will go ahead and show you the cargo box itself. It is real nice. As you can see, it is all plastic construction and is also weather tight construction on the door hinge itself. We will go ahead and open it and show you how it works. It has these suitcase type latches that hold everything down and they are lockable. Once you open it up you can see you have plenty of space inside. Also if you get anything inside or just want to wash it out, or what not, there is a plug in here to drain it. The hardshell carriers are not included and what also is not included is a 5/8 hitch pin and clip. Next we will go ahead and show you how it is installed on a typical 2 inch receiver hitch and show you show you how you can mount up your golf clubs. Alright, we will go ahead and show you a couple of nice features about this golf club carrier. It is pretty nice. First off, it is really light weight and it is really easy to install. Today we are going to show you part number 52018 from Surco. What we have here is a 24x60 cargo carrier for a 2 inch receiver hitch. Includes integrated rails with rounded corners which makes for a nice sleek finish. With this all steel design with a rust resistant finish that is really easy to go together. In fact in only has 3 pieces you have to bolt together. Now we will cover some of the specs of this cargo carrier. First off the hitch that fits is only a 2x2 inch receiver hitch. Now we will cover some of the overall dimensions. From outside to outside the edge is 25-5/8 by 61-1/2. The actual interior dimensions is 24 by 60. One dimension to look out for is from the center hitch pin to the side edge here, you are looking at 5-1/2 inches. Also the cargo carrying capacity is 500 pounds for this cargo carrier. Today we are going to be showing you part number 665C from Thule. This is their transporting and tilting enclosed cargo carrier. It slides into an inch and a quarter hitch, class 2, receiver or a 2 inch hitch which due to its lower height makes loading much easier. It has a tilt down design which makes gaining access to the rear of the vehicle that much easier. It also includes a lock for extra security. Now it also has an optional light and holder for a licensee plate for those long trips down the road which requires you to punch holes in the front of the cargo carrier. Today we are going to show you part number 63153 from Tow Ready. We have a 24 X 16 rail and cargo carrier for 2 inch trailer hitches only. A couple of nice features about this, it is that it has a raised shank that elevates the carrier platform for a little bit better ground clearance. It is really good for a small SUV or mini van. It has a black powder coat finish that helps resist rust and corrosion. Also what is nice about this unit is it has an optional light kit. The capacity of this carrier is overall is 500 pounds. Today we are going to show you part number TH835PRO from Thule. What we have here is our Hull-A-Port Pro Folding J Rooftop Kayak Carrier. So what this does is help you carry your Kayak on your Thule load bars or factory load bars on your vehicle. What you see is only half the kit we already have the other half assembled and installed on our vehicle. The furthest right we have the cradle it self that holds the Kayak. This converts the bar of the cargo carrier from a 2 inch receiver to a 1-1/4 receiver. To start our process, what we need to do is take off the old bar first. That necessitates taking off these four bolts, there are some block nut bolts on the bottom so we will undo those and then we can uncrank the bolts from the top. Like I said before, there are these four lock nuts that have to come off and they just double nut the bolt into place. Now we can take off these four bolts on the top. Once you have the shank uninstalled, were going to slide the new one underneath of it. We put our new bracket in which replaces the old one and put our new bolt in which goes directly in the center. Just thread it in place and hold it. Now we go to the other side. Now we tighten them up. There you have it for part # X12BAR. more

This is a folding basket adapter for two inch trailer hitch mounted cargo carriers. Specifically this will fit cargo carrier model 52018. As you can see we have the parts laid out here, we will install them on a cargo carrier and show you how it goes. But we will just cover the main points of it. Basically you see this bushing right here, what is going to happen is it is going to actually fit inside the tube of the cargo carrier itself, inside like this, so you will not see it. What happens is, as a bushing it reduces it down for this bolt, so when it sits inside down here, it eliminates all the slop. This pin here is just for when you fold it up or have it down, it is just a pin that keeps it in place, that is all it does. It has two positions: one for up and one for down position. We have a cargo carrier here, we will go ahead and install the adapter bar here, pretty simple. Again you want to put your bushing in first, and that stays there and then you slide your adapter bar over. Then you install the bolt and the washer on each side. more

Now we will install a bike on the adapter to show you how it works. Once you get your bike into position, make sure that this clamp is at a 90 degree angle with the bike frame. You then simply tighten it down. And then next what we will do are the wheel straps. The tire wheel straps just wrap around the rail and wheel. There you have it, with the bike installed on the rack, you can see it uses the bottom tube to hold the bike into place and that it will carry a variety of different bikes. This is a cargo carrier stretch net from Rola. As you can see we have it laying across a couple of boxes here to give you an overall idea of how it looks. We will go ahead and show you how it works and how good it is to go with a cargo carrier. We will start off with the hooks on the stretch net. As you can see they are made out of sturdy plastic and there are 20 of them. So if you have odd attachment points on your cargo carrier or what not, rest assured you will actually have one or two hooks left over so you can reach anywhere you need to. We will go ahead and hook up a few here to show how this stretch net can contain everything you have on your cargo carrier. You do not have to hook it up to the bar either, if you have a different kind of cargo carrier you may be able to just wrap it underneath and catch it, or just go straight down also. As you can see we tied down most of the hooks and you can see that the cargo is well secured and definitely not going to go anywhere. This is a Light Kit for cargo carriers 63153 and 63155. Well show you how this light kit gets installed on a cargo carrier which is part # 63153. To begin with well install the grommets, they just snap into place. They will be a little bit loose, but when you install the light it will spread out a little further. Now we simply install our lights, again they pop into place. When you have them in make sure the grommet is snapped in on both sides. Again for the other side. What we need to do next is start our wire harness, you have a yellow and brown wire, which goes to the left hand side. The green and brown wire goes to the right side. You want to make sure before you begin you have the right wire going to the correct side. This is the left side of the vehicle so well go ahead and start our wiring. more

Today we are going to show you part number 59409 from Rola. This is the bike mounting kit for GearSpace 34 the enclosed cargo carrier. Each kit includes a steel, hard point channel track complete with the mounting hardware, quick release fork mount and bungee retainer. The channel track feature enables a user to slide the fork mount into any desired position along the track. The track itself is bolted onto the cargo carrier tray using existing holes. Now we will show you how it works. We are going to open up the cargo carrier and show you where the tracking mounts onto the body. This is the track itself that bolts to the floor of the body. This bag is designed to work with the Everthere sport carrier, the X300. We will start the assembly by snapping the frame together first. Simply press together where your poles meet. The next step is to unfold the bag and insert the supports. Once you have the framing installed, you flip it right side out and then we put our cross pieces in. Once you get the basic shape set up, take some time to push the corners out as far as possible, so you use all the fabric needed and there is no bunching up. For your basic frame set up, go ahead and install your Velcro straps. Lets go install it on the cargo carrier. Next we can take our straps and just pull them through the cargo carrier with the Velcro from high as possible and push them against the Velcro there. You do this on all four sides. more

Its just wraps around the carrier, except for the shank which stays outside. The rest gets covered up. It also has a handy cargo area here to add whatever you want to it. It also has handles to carry it. We will put it on the carrier to show you how it works. To begin with you want to lay the bag down as flat as possible, and the cargo carrier in its place. First were going to stick the bottom half of the assembly into the hitch, we will start from there. Next well start installing the outriggers they will go on the bottom and support the cargo carrier itself. The next step we need to do is go ahead and install the wire harness. What we need to do first is go ahead and unpin the hinge mechanism and unfold it so we have plenty of working room to run our wires. Now we can go ahead and install our wiring, first we will install a zip tie loosely around the tube and then we will run our wires through it and then snug it up to secure it, to keep it from moving anywhere. We will leave all the zip ties reasonably loose for now, because we still have to work around and make sure we have plenty of length where the plugs connect to the cargo carrier as well as to the vehicle. Next thing we need to do is take apart the tray from the cargo box itself. We will go ahead and close the fold mechanism back up and we will start building on top of that. more

The first feature of this we will show you is the most obvious one. It is a nice one piece all enclosed unit to carry all your materials in. As you can see it is all one piece construction with no seams, also there is a drain hole in case something does spring a leak inside. Also what is really nice about this is that this is actually two products in one. You have enclosed carrier and you also have a tray on the bottom that you can use to carry your equipment too that does not quite fit in the enclosed section. We will show you how to take that apart with the two latches at the bottom. If you notice there are a variety of slots all around the perimeter of the tray itself, those are there to put down your tie down hooks. Put them in there and they will catch on the side or vice versa and secure your cargo. One nice feature about this is the built in tail light assemblies in case what you are carrying blocks off the tail lights you have on your vehicle you always have those for back up. Also if you plan to keep your cargo carrier on your vehicle for extended vacation or something like that, some states require you not to have your license plate blocked. This unit has provisions where you can screws to attach a license plate right here and here so your plate would end up mounting about like this. Also on top, there is two dimples here for an additional accessory that you can install that will allow you to have a license plate light. One of the most obvious features also on this rack is the swing away portion of it. This is so you can get into the back of your vehicle if you need to. As you can see this is a full featured carrier, actually two carriers in one. Its size, shape and appearance goes with a lot of small SUVs out there. We will start off by installing the base into our 2 inch receiver hitch and installing the anti-sway mechanism. To install our anti-sway device, we have to install this bolt, this lock washer and this flat washer. And what happens, it goes into the assembly here, into your 2 inch receiver hitch, and we just simply thread it down tight. Get as far as you can with your hand and then Thule provides a tool to tighten it down with. All you have to do is snug it, you do not have to give it a lot of force. Then it all becomes one piece of your hitch. Now were going to assemble our lock assembly, and what we need to do is insert this core into our lock and we will do that by using our pass key. Hold the lock core down, pull out your key and try it with the actual key. And then, take out your plug and check the operation of the lock. Once you have that accomplished, we can go ahead and install our anti-sway device. more

To cover a couple basic things about this cargo carrier, it is pretty nice in the fact that it is all made out of aluminum. It is light weight and when it is folded up into the position it is in now, it has easy carrying handles ran through the center here. So you just take it and pick it up. Since it is not flat like a normal cargo carrier is, it is easy for one person to install. It attaches to the hitch with a pin and clip, sold separately. To unfold it, you just simply hold the two ends together, push that button, then allow one side to go down, and then the other and that pin locks back down into place. With the two outsides you repeat the process. Within seconds it is fully open. more

The dimensions of this are 23x56, which are on the inside of the cargo carrier itself. If you notice the sides actually slant out a little bit to provide a wider area on top, which comes out to almost 59 inches. As you can see here it has a heavy duty expanded metal base to it, this is actually one of the heaviest cargo carriers we carry. Also on the side of the rails it has built-in cut outs in case you want to add a light kit to it. This cargo carrier comes in five pieces. It sounds like a lot but it is actually realy easy to assemble. I will show you the pieces and how it comes. As I said before, it will come to you in five pieces and it is really easy to assemble. You will have a left and right hand side of the basket, two chrome handles, and last piece is the shank itself. You can see the front half of the shank here, and it goes all the way back here to your hitch. This is all a welded one piece unit. You can see here the shank has a two inch rise to it, which really helps vehicles that sit low to the ground. more

This cargo carrier has a capacity of 500 pounds and requires a 5/8 pin and clip, sold separately. Alright, we are going to show you how to put it together, obviously it is not rocket science but we will show you a couple of hints that will make it easier to put together. The best way to start off simply is just go ahead and have the cargo carrier upside down like we have it and just simply really just bring the two halves together. Make sure it is good and tight and you have separations equal on both ends. They wont be perfect but get them as close as possible. And then what we will do next is go ahead and install our side plates. Make sure you have the logo facing the right way, we are upside down for the moment, and just go ahead and put it together. Now we can go ahead and tighten our bolts down. Now repeat for the other half. Now that we have the basket itself assembled and tightened down, next assure every thing is secure on top more

The steel frame gives it 500 pounds of carrying capacity while the polypropylene tray helps keep everything light. There is some assembly required but it is easy to do with sockets and wrenches. As you can see, the cargo carrier itself has plenty of holes and slots to give your tie downs plenty of room to grip. What is really nice about this carrier is that it also folds up. When you are not using it, why have it hang out? You can easily fold it up against your vehicle, go down the road, and when you get to your destination to pick up your object, lower it, strap it down, and you are good to go. Today we have part number CR-114N from Bully. What we have here is a cargo carrier, it is a 20x45 for 2 inch trailer hitches. This lightweight tubular cargo carrier allows for secure cargo storage. With its 350 pound capacity and black powder coated finish, which helps it resist corrosion, this cargo carrier is almost ready for anything. It assembles easy, but does only fit 2 inch trailer hitches. This cargo carrier from Bully, as you can see, is built completely out of tube steel which helps make it so lightweight, about 26 pounds to be exact. It does not have any expanded metal on the floor to add weight. However, the Bully cargo carrier does need some assembly but only consists of four parts. One nice little detail about this rack, you will notice there are three holes on the shank. That allows for adjusting ability on the hitch itself. This is a 19x60 folding cargo carrier from Valley. This is a solid constructed carrier which is perfect for those who need heavy duty carrying capacity. Today we are going to show you part # 5800200 from Highland. This is part of their Lets Go Aero product line. What we have here is a nice heavy cargo carrier. It does come in kit form and it does require some assembly. It is not too bad. It comes with clear and easy to understand directions. This unit only fits on 2 inch receiver hitches. We will show you the actual measurements from the inside of the cargo carrier. The inside width of the cargo carrier is 32 inches and the inside length is 48 inches. One of the nice features is it has a built in anti-rattle feature which is similar to what you see on high end bike racks. Another nice thing is it has 2 different holes to give you clearance for different types of bumper and hitch combinations. We will go ahead and install our bolt pin, which simply goes in and threads into place. more

Today we are going to show you part number 5801600 the Mover Transporter. What we have here is a 48 by 32 inch cargo carrier with side rails and a ramp. This extra long cargo carrier with a ramp may be positioned upright for hauling or lay flat when not used. This is great for anything with wheels such as mobility scooters, generators, and snow blowers or pretty much any other wheeled item. This complete system also includes anti skid tape to keep stuff from sliding around and the D ring tie down points to complete the Mover Transporter package.
