Install of a Wiring harness on a 2007 Jeep Lorado

On this install we are going to do a T-One install on a 2007 Jeep Lorado. We are going to user part number 118425. We will be doing a four pole flat that will terminate down by the trailer hitch. First step is to take off the tail lights. Well take off this rivet and this rivet and pop out the tail lights. Then well run a wire harness from below the bumper, up behind the bumper and into the tail light cavity.

When running the wire harness, what were going to do is go ahead is run this back behind the bumper panel. Simply stuff it down behind there and grab it later. The main thing is the connector with the yellow wire will go to the drivers side what will happen is the wire will plug into this connector here and the tail light will plug into here. That is pretty much it for connections, we just need to run the wire to the other side behind the bumper and do the same thing on the passenger side.

Once you have your wires pulled behind the bumper, go ahead and reassemble the driver side tail light assembly. Now well start running our wires to the passenger side, the green and white wire here. Well route it behind the bumper cover here all the way across. While were underneath the vehicle there is a nice spot here to run the ground screw to. Lets mount it there and it will be protected and continue to run the rest of our wires to the passenger side tail light.

Now we can install the passenger side tail light. The next step remains is to test the install.

I went to 6 places looking for the trailer hitch and couldnt find it. E Trailer was great to deal with and they ship it out fast. Also their hitch cover was higher quality because it was metal. Thanks again. I would recommend you to anyone looking for a trailer hitch cover.
