Installation of a Wiring Harness on a 2004 Subaru Forester
All you have to do is get to the inside panel and get to the connector. Basically we have to take out this panel, and this panel to get the spare tire well and we can find our panel that way. Once you get to the spare tire well you should see this connector wrapped in blue tape. Your T-connector will plug right in to that and well go ahead and make a permanent mounting. We can route this back here and make sure you have enough wire coming out. After that go ahead and stick it down with the adhesive.
When you dont need it, it can sit with the spare tire, when it is needed go ahead and pull it out. When you shut your hatch on it this door seal will give plenty of room for the wire to do its thing even if it needs to go in and out. Its still nice and loose and it wont get pinched when its hanging out the door.
