Review of Westin Black Powder Coated Aluminum Oval Tube Steps

We have installed these high quality tube steps from Westin and wanted you to see how great they look. These after market bars are installed using vehicle specific brackets to make installation as painless as possible. Once installed it gives your truck a great custom look and helps those who need it to get inside.

The steps themselves are 85 inches long, and they are constructed of a 4-1/4 inch diameter extruded aluminum elliptical shaped tubing. The powder coating is good for both looks and superior corrosion resistance. This is a much better setup than you would find on a factory tube step that are just painted or are powder coated steel. The plastic steps themselves are UV resistant so they will not crack or fade even in direct sunlight. The pads themselves are 26 inches long which is 30 longer than other ones on the market and the step pads are 20 wider than most standard step bars. These bars do mount onto brackets you install separately on your vehicle. In most cases they are a no drill application. The tube steps themselves are always a no drill application. The brackets themselves are different for each vehicle and made specific for each type of vehicle and are always sold separately.
