Short demonstration showing how easy the emergency light, flare, and flashlight are to use.
This product from Wagan is a must for every vehicle on the road. The weather resistant housing and stable three point stand make it a versatile emergency tool which you can count on and safer than traditional flares. The battery operated unit would also be great to have in your home for when the electricity goes out. Here Joe shows us how easy this three in one emergency flare and flashlight is to use.
Today we have part number 09867 from Wagan Tech, a three in one flare and emergency flashlight. What we have here is a combination flashlight and flare and basically you have the flashlight on one side here and a flare in the back. What is nice about the flare in the back, just pull this back a little bit, pull the legs out and you have a self standing flare. We will show you a couple of details about this and how to load the batteries which is pretty easy. At the end of the flashlight there are three notches: flash, like we talked about for the flare; an on for the flashlight, and an off position, of course so you will not drain the batteries; and the open position here. What that does is allow you to add the batteries. It is ready to go. You have the flashlight and the flare.
We will show you a typical application for this. The flashlight is always handy in case you are stuck along the side of the road. You can see what you are doing and if it is safe to step on where ever you are walking. Also with the flare ability you can go ahead and use that off to the side, turn it on flash, and pull this up and the legs pop out, put it back on the ground so while you are changing your tire it will let people know that you are out there. Also what is nice about the flare function is that unlike normal flares where they are kind of dangerous to light up and it is a hot object you are dealing with that you have to put in the road and you only use them once and that is it where with this one you can reuse it and just need to keep replacing the batteries. And there you have it for part number 09867 from Wagan Tech, Emergency Flare and Flashlight.
