Review of the Load Master Trailer Tongue Weight Scale
Today we are going to show you part number 5780 from Towing Products. What we have here is a trailer tongue weight scale. We will cover a few features here, first off it has 2 reading types on here. One is in metric and the other is standard measurement read outs. On standard you have 0 to 2000 pounds tongue weight it can handle. Also here on the top this part is removable and what this is for is if you put this on the scale on blocks. You put this inside the tongue of the coupler you can get your weight off of that. Or without it you can put this under the jack and get pretty much the same accuracy. At this point we will show you how this works. To use this we need to get it as square under the jack as possible. Keep it very well centered the best you can. Then with the coupler unlatched and the truck kind of loose inside there so it does not drag when you pick it up.
Crank the jack down so you can take the weight off of the truck and the scale will tell you how much your trailer weighs. We have the weight off the truck and it is all on the scale now.
