Rola 2 Bike Rack Demonstration
This is a bike rack fitting only two bikes and is for a 2 inch receiver hitch only. We'll show you the assembly of the bicycle rack here then we'll go over the features for you. First step involved is obviously taking the straps off the cradles so we can put the bike on, we've done that so lets grab a bike and put it on there to see how it looks. As you can see here this bicycle rack here will accept a standard bicycle frame, in this case a road bike. Now we'll this to you with an alternative bike frame. As you can see this is how the bicycle rack handles with an alternative frame bike. There's a little bit of an angle but still steady and won't go anywhere. While we have the bike on here we'll show you some of the features that make this bike rack a pretty good deal. First we'll show the straps in the cradles themselves. As you can see those are easy to use rubber straps that hold the bike in place. It's all rubber to metal contact, you won't scratch it and it's easy to use. It will fit a different variety of tubes on different varieties of bikes. If you notice on one of the other cradles on the other side, there's another strap called the anti-sway device. What it does is wrap around this tube here and keeps your bike from going forward and back. It limits the movement. The next nice feature about this rack is the built in locking device. There's an end here in the arm and there's an end on a cable that gets stored in the rack itself. Simply just wrap it around the tube and it will just snap on to the other half. While we're looking at the rack lock here, you can see that this cover actually twists to hide it out of the way and keep dust and road grime out of the lock at the same time. Another nice feature about this rack is storage and accessibility to the rear of your vehicle. What's nice is when you have it on the vehicle you can tilt it down to the back in case you forgot something to get out. It would probably work better if you take the bikes off first, but you can do it with the bikes on there. Last but not least is the storage feature of this rack. As you have seen while I was putting it together I actually folded up the arms. If you want to store it and take up less space, put the arms back down. We'll review it one more time so you know how it works out. The rack is now ready for storage. A note about this bike rack is that the overall distance across the arms is going to be 14 inches. Overall, this is a full feature bicycle rack. Like I said before it's good for a two inch receiver hitch and two bicycles. It's all you need in one nice tiny little package to haul two bikes.
