Demonstration of the Kuat B201 Bike Rack

Today we are going to show you part # B201 from Kuat. This is the 3 bike bicycle rack. One of the best things about this bike rack is that it is extremely light. This will also fit in your trunk space for easy storage thanks to it folding capacity. Again it is really light, you can almost toss it anywhere. It is also available in this chrome black color as well. We will show you how to open it up from the stored position. It is pretty simple. Undo this pin right here first and then flip it all the way around to the other side. Next you can reinstall your pin and install it in your hitch. It is easy to install. You just slide it into the hitch and align it with the hitch pin holes. Then after it is aligned you just put a standard 5/8 pin into place. You may notice it is slightly wobbly right now. You just spin this knob down here and it will tighten up the built in anti-rattle device. Now a lot of the slack is taken out. When you get ready to carry some bikes all you need to do is flip the arms up.

To start folding the arms up you must pull out the pin at the top of the bike rack. Then just pull the arms up and reinstall the pin and your bike rack is good to go. We will go ahead and load a few bikes on here. Now we will go ahead and show you the features of this bike rack that make it so easy to use. We will start with the cradles. Each one of these cradles have their own anti-sway device installed as one piece unit. So it does not matter which way you put the bike on. You can still have the anti-sway ready to go. As you can see right here. The straps themselves are nice and thick and heavy duty material. They are pretty easy to use and pretty durable. You can get a lot of stretch out of them and get them tight. Same thing with the bottom anti-sway, it is pretty easy to use and you can take them off either way, it does not matter, which ever way is easier for you to use. Also the cradles themselves rotate to accommodate all different types of frames and different angles. Also in the cradles we have a couple of grooves in here to help center the bike in the middle of the cradle and give you a bunch of room for cables too.
