Deadbolt Hitch and Trailer Lock Set Demonstration
This lock set is designed for 2 inch X 2 inch class III and IV receiver hitches. The trailer lock fits a lever style couplers with a half inch span overall. We'll show you the operation of these locks, it's pretty easy simply undo the cover and put your key in. Then you can twist the key or hold the key and twist on the other side and it comes apart. To lock it up you do the same thing, then a quarter to a half turn the key comes out and it's locked. The same thing applies to the coupler lock here, we'll show you that installed on a coupler. We have our coupler here, it's a typical trigger style coupler, it's pretty common for small trailers to have them.
Basically the lock inserts into this hole here, again we just take our lock apart like so. It just goes on through, and there you have it, it locks on to ball and it's going nowhere. Now we'll show the receiver lock installed, it's pretty simple it just goes through as far as you can go and there you have it. That's part # 7685.
