Review of the Mover Transporter Cargo Carrier
Today we are going to show you part number 5801600 the Mover Transporter. What we have here is a 48 by 32 inch cargo carrier with side rails and a ramp. This extra long cargo carrier with a ramp that could be positioned upright for hauling or lay flat when not used. This is great for anything with wheels such as mobility scooters, generators, and snowblowers or any other wheeled item. This complete system also includes anti skid tape to keep things from sliding around. There is also the D ring tie down points to complete the Moover Transporter package. It has a ramp that offers ground level access for easy loading obviously. It has ample size and high rails to accommodate transporting equipment, heavy, or wheeled items. This platform is designed to have 3 steel planks and it is light weight and high strength.
Accessories include like I said before D ring tie down points to attach straps for bungee cords and what not. There is also anti skid tape on the floor which helps prevent slips while using the ramp. Also keeps stuff from moving around while sitting on the carrier. A silent hitch pin is also included and what that does is reduce noise and movement within the trailer hitch itself. It is a stabilizer and anti-rattle all in one. This whole assembly comes with a one year warranty. The specs of this unit is a 2 by 2 only hitch receivers. Has a weight capacity of up to 300 pounds. The inside dimensions are 48 1/8 in length and the width is 32 inches even. The height of the rails is 7 1/4 inches. Overall dimensions on the outside are 50 1/8 inches in length and the width is 34 inches even and rails themselves are 8 1/2 inches tall.
Ramp length is 43 inches and the width of it is 30 inches. The rack weighs 50 pounds itself and the ramp adds an additional 20 pounds and it does require assembly. Now we will demonstrate possibly the biggest feature which is the ramp itself. It is pretty easy to use you just pull the pin and then pull back on the stabilizer here and lower it down.
