Today we are going to be installing part number 118319 on a 1993 Chevy Suburban. Underneath the bumper area now we can see this is the connecting point for the T-connector. So what we want to do is go ahead and disconnect the two pieces, and then we are going to plug our T-harness in line to that. OK, then we just want to find a suitable grounding point for the ground screw here. We can probably use this metal surface that the T-harness is connected to. OK, with the harness grounded, our installation is complete. This concludes the installation of part number 118319 on a 1993 Chevy Suburban. more

Today we are going to be installing hitch part number 41511 from Draw-Tite on a 1993 Chevy Suburban. Looking up under the vehicle now at the frame rail, we are going to go ahead and point out the attaching points for the hitch. As you can see, there are three existing holes at the bottom of the frame that we are going to use as the attaching points. We do need to enlarge these holes before we can put the hardware into place. See the one at the rearmost attaching point, we are going to need to enlarge to a half-inch, and the two forward ones are going to need to be enlarged to nine-sixteenths. So we are going to go ahead and do that now on both sides. more

Today we are going to show you the state of Texas Flag 2-Inch Receiver Hitch Cover, part number 034092101109. As you can see here, the tube cover itself is a depiction of the Texas flag. And this is an alloy material with enamel that has been put inlay into the shape itself. I will show you the back side of it. This comes with a foam gasket to help it fit on the receiver hitch a little bit tighter. It also comes with two different wire forms here. These wire forms adjust the tube cover to match different variants in the hitch pin. Some are farther back in the hitch tube than others. As you can see, there is only a short length here and a long length here. And you only use one at a time and they fit into these tabs sticking out. The tabs themselves have different lengths where the holes are. This tab here, if you can see, is towards the edge. And on this one over here, it is a little bit closer down towards the bottom. Use that in conjunction with the wire forms to get the best fit possible on your hitch. more

Alright, today we are going to show you part number CR-404 from Bully. This is their soccer ball for your trailer hitch cover. As you can see, this shows basically half of a soccer ball. And it is a pretty good sized tube cover. It is 6-inches in diameter, so you may want to take into account what you hitch and bumper edge relation is like to make sure you have enough clearance for it. Basically, from the top of the cover down to the tube itself is going to be about 2-inches, so you might want to double check that measurement. more

Alright, today we are going to show you part number CR-019R from Bully. This is their Flame Brake Light LED Hitch Cover. This hitch cover only fits 2-inch receiver hitches. It has a nice oval shape design to it. Which you can obviously see the flames on the front, which do light up blue when you hit your running lights. And then, when you hit your brakes, the background glows a brighter red to match your taillights. It also uses a 4-pole connector on the end of it so you can plug it into almost any vehicle that has a typical wiring harness. more

Today we are going to cover part number CR-007 from Bully. This is the Brake Light Trailer Hitch Receiver Cover for 2-inch receivers. This is your most basic lighted trailer hitch cover out there. It fits a 2-inch receiver only, and it has basically a red light in the back here that comes on when you hit your brake or your right-turn signal. And that is the only time it comes on. Again, it is a very basic unit. But it is always good to have an extra third brake light just for safety's sake. We will go ahead and install it on a vehicle and show you how it looks. more

Today we are going to show you an American Flag Waving 2-Inch Hitch Receiver Cover, from Alfred. And this is part number 034092100201. As you can see here, it depicts an American flag in a waving position. And this fits only 2-inch receiver hitches. And it is constructed out of alloy material with an enamel inlay into the etching here to provide the colors. On the backside here, you can see the actual alloy material that it is made out of. It also comes with a gasket. What that does, it helps seal up the hitch tube cover and also provides a little bit of friction or something to press against for the wire forms as they are installed into the receiver hitch itself. And the wire forms themselves have two different lengths to facilitate installing a hitch cover, because sometimes a hitch pin in the end of the hitch itself has varying lengths, depending on that manufacturer. And on the tabs here, you can see that the pins have different heights, like say this one is towards the end and this one is towards the bottom. Again, it gives you better adjustment to make a proper fit on your hitch. more

Today we are going to show you part number CR-402L from Bully. This is their 4-Blade Propeller Trailer Hitch Cover for 1-1/4 and 2 inch trailer hitches. It also has an LED stoplight on the back also. As you can see here, it is a 4-blade propeller and it spins freely in the wind. It is pretty neat. When you go down the road, it spins around and you look like you have a propeller on the back of your vehicle. And you can see, off to the side there are two other plastic parts. Those are parts that will allow you to use it in an 1-1/4 inch receiver hitch also. The foam gasket on the side helps make it a tight fit whenever possible and also helps keep out extra dust and corrosion from getting inside the hitch itself. more

Today we are going to cover part number CR-414, from Bully. And this is their Maltese Chrome Trailer Hitch Receiver Cover. This cover here, as you can see, has a Maltese cross and it works on 1-1/4 and 2 inch receiver hitches. This consists of die-cast construction with a chrome finish and it has plastic parts in the back to fit either 1-1/4 or 2 inch receiver. Off to the side here, we do have the pieces right here that do make it adaptable to an 1-1/4 inch receiver and a foam gasket. And the cross itself, we have a 2 inch version mounted up, with the plastic here and the foam gasket installed. more

Today we are going to be installing part number 75656 on a 2009 Ford Flex. We are up underneath the vehicle now, on the drivers side frame rail, and as you can see, the exhaust is on this side. And the hanger for the exhaust is actually being held on with these two bolts that are in the frame here. Those are actually the same two bolts and weld nuts that we are going to use to install the hitch. So the first thing we want to do is to go ahead and remove these bolts and bring the hanger down. more

Today we are going to be installing part number 70609 from Hidden Hitch on a 1997 Infiniti QX4. The first thing we want to do is to go ahead and remove the spare tire and get the chain up out of the way. OK, taking a look at the frame rails here, we are going to go ahead and point out the locations for the mounting holes. We are on the passengers side, and you can see there is a tie-down hook over here on the side of the frame, held in by three bolts. We are going to have to actually remove these three bolts because those are going to be the attaching points for the hitch itself. And we need to do that same thing on the drivers side where there is a tow hook, as well. So, the first step is to go ahead and remove the bolts here. OK, over here on the drivers side frame rail, again, we are going to need to remove the tow hook, removing these same three bolts as we removed on the passengers side. In order to do so, we are going to need to take down this compressor box, here, as well. This is held in with three bolts on the frame right here, right here, and right here. We want to do that first, again, to get it out of the way. And then we can take down the tie-down hook. more

It features embedded jewelry-quality cubic zirconium stones, as you can see, outlined around the edge of the emblem. This has been lab tested for weather- and corrosion-resistant construction. Today we are going to install part number TH342 from Thule. This is part of the Professional Line. This is a Cap Rack System that gets bolted to the top of the cap of your truck whether it be a fiberglass unit as we have shown here or an aluminum unit that can be also available. The first step involved is to find a place where you can actually mount the rack itself. Generally, in the corners of the cap area is going to be your strongest area. Try not to go too far forward away from the corner, to keep it as strong as possible. Also, you have to take into account what is underneath here. On aluminum racks, you have the bars that are going across the frame of it. And also, on some fiberglass caps, such as this one, there is a layer of insulation or a thicker material underneath here. We actually had to fit between that thicker layer and the corner here, so that is why these are sitting as far in the corner as possible. And once you have the pads in place where you want them, we did tape them down to hold everything in place. And we will go ahead and drill out our holes to mount them. more

Today we are going to install part number 11179 from Curt on our 2001 BMW 530i. To begin our install, we are going to get underneath some access panels here. First off, we have to get to the spare tire cover and actually take out the spare tire. We will be drilling into the spare tire well, so it is always a good idea to stay away from the spare tire. After removing the spare tire, we will get behind these access panels here. And there are three nuts with integrated washers that actually bolt the bumper to the end of this frame rail, right here. And we need to take those three completely off. And it will be the same on both sides. All right, there are three clips that need to be removed to take off the bumper. There is one on the bottom, one kind of on the side there, and then finally there is one up there toward the top. We just need to take the center part out of it and the rivet will come out, and we can move this splash guard out of the way. Okay, at this point we can go ahead and remove the bumper. We need to do that to have access for drilling. And at this point, you will need an extra set of hands. more

Today we are going to show you part number S80980 from Swagman. This is their To Go Beverage Cup Holder. This is the beverage holder here itself. Obviously you can slide your can or cup or whatever you can use that will fit in there. And this is the part here that actually clips onto the bicycle handlebar itself. Basically what it does is, this part is a clamp that goes onto the handlebar. And it is easily adjusted by this tab right here. You slide it over your handlebar and then you just basically clamp it down tight to lock it into place. Pretty simple device you can easily transport it between different bicycles. Today we are going to show you part number 10501 from Cipa. This is Cipas Custom Towing Mirror. These mirrors are custom made for each individual vehicle. In this instance, we actually use a Dodge Durango for our test fit. This mirror extension sits up on the factory mirror. It slides onto the factory mirror just about right here. And what keeps it in place is this wedge, which gets installed between the factory mirror and the extension mirror, right here. Now I will clamp this into place. And what actually tightens everything down is this knob, which goes on the back side of the mirror. It gets screwed in there and applies pressure to the back of the wedge, which in turn clamps the mirror to the factory mirror. more

Today we are going to show you part number TH962XT from Thule. This is the Thule Speedway Three-Bike Carrier. And this is a trunk-mounted rack. This is also available in a two-bike version, known as part number TH961XT. First we will point out the Thule Fit Dial here. Basically, what this does is adjust the spacing of the rack itself as it goes onto the vehicle. It is really easy to use. There are a variety of positions that you can use it on. It is pretty easy. You actually unscrew this bolt, here. And there is one on each side we just have the one in for now. You can see that it adjusts the rack itself to fit a variety of contours on the vehicle. From something like that, that would sit on the back of a car, to an SUV, or a station wagon where it may need to be flattened out. And what is nice about the instructions that come with this, the Dial Fit actually tells you what position to use for the type of vehicle you have. It makes it real easy to match up to your vehicle right off the bat. And also the arms, right here, do swing out of the way if you need to. There is one button on each side. Just push them in and they rotate down. Or, if you would like, you can actually take them apart. more

Today we are going to show you part number 51953 from OSI. This is their four-bike bicycle rack. This bicycle rack features heavy-duty steel construction with a locking top plate that secures up to four bikes. What also is nice about this unit is that it actually swings out of the way so you have rear access to your vehicle. This rack does fit 2-inch receivers only, and the actual rack swings out up to 42 inches out to the side. And the cradles themselves will handle a bike frame up to 1-1/2 inches in diameter. Today we are going to show you part number 5801200 from Highland. This is their Sportwing two-bike rack. This will fit 1-1/4 and 2- inch receiver hitches. We will go ahead and install this in a 2-inch receiver hitch and show you how it works. It is pretty simple. It does use two pieces of metal as a bushing to install in 2-inch receiver hitches. If you use 1-1/4 inch, you do not need the bushings. Again, we will show you how it goes together. We will use these two pieces here, that is going to be like a bushing, for a 2-inch receiver hitch. Basically, you just line them up together, like so. And you can orient these either way, depending on the depth of your hitch. So it is not a hard and fast rule to have them a certain orientation. And basically, you just line them up as best you can. Kind of grab them by the edge here, and then you can just go ahead and install it in the hitch. Put our pieces together, grab the ends, and install it in your hitch. And it is going to be loose for now. Install your anti-sway bolt. Take your flat washer and your lock nut - and it is a nylon lock nut - and just go ahead and tighten it down. The bicycle rack does come with the tool for the Allen head but you do need a separate wrench for the nut itself. And we use a 16-mm wrench on this nut. All right, and essentially what this does is that the bolt pulls the whole assembly to one side of the hitch and locks it into place so it cannot move. more

Today we are going to be installing wiring harness part number 30130 for a 2006 Ford Escape. The attachment points for the wiring harness are going to be located behind the taillight assemblies, so the first thing we are going to do is to remove the taillight assemblies from the vehicle. That is going to require removing the two screws here on the inboard side. You want to be careful when removing the taillight assembly to make sure you do not break any of the locking tabs that are inside. You want to go ahead and do that on both sides of the vehicle. more

Today we are going to show you part number TH910, the Passage 2 from Thule. This is a 2 Bike Trunk Mounted Bike Rack Carrier. It goes on the back of your vehicle it does not require a trailer hitch or anything. It usually installs onto the deck lid of your trunk. One of the nice features about this bicycle rack is it can adjust to virtually any shape of car or SUV. This is where you make your adjustments, depending on the type of vehicle you have. You simply just unscrew this, and you have one on each side. It is basically just like a little bolt with a handle on the end. And you can take this and adjust the bicycle rack to whatever shape you need. Again, the rack comes with instructions on how to adjust it for your particular model. On ours we will use number 6. And also for storage, the arms will actually rotate and fold out of the way, too. And that is easily done by pushing in two buttons. And there will be a button here and there is one on the opposite side. Just squeeze them together, and you can see they rotate out of the way. more

Today we are going to show you part number TH7022 from Thule, the large Go Box, their multipurpose carrier. What we are going to do is show you how all the gear and sporting equipment can actually fit easily in the bag and be quite organized. This is how the bag comes in its stored position nice and flat so it does not take up too much room when you are not using it. And when you are ready to use it and fill it up, just undo the latches on the side do this part on both sides, just like that. Then just pull it open and you take these two bottom flaps here and you just push them straight to the bottom. And basically the bag is set and ready to go. And also, on the very bottom it has this nice, waterproof tarpaulin bottom, too, and these little grips, too, to help keep it from sliding around on the carpet. And it also has easy-to-use carrying handles on both sides, as well as little pockets for small stuff, too. All right, we will go ahead and load this up and show you how much gear you can put in here. more

Today we are going to show you part number TH7004 from Thule. This is their Go Pack. A couple of details about this bag: first off, it has a nice, waterproof bottom to it. So, if you set it somewhere damp, obviously it is is not going to work its way inside of it. And it has a nice, easy to carry strap. And also, it comes packed with an optional shoulder strap, too, which actually is kept in this side bag, right here, that you can also be used for additional storage, also. Also, a nice little pocket for ID. And notice on the sides there are handles to carry it like this, also. We will go ahead and load it up with some sports equipment here. Stuff in some skates, Frisbees, and you are ready to go. And there you have it for part number TH7004, the Go Pack from Thule. more

Today we are going to show you part number 59200. This is the Rola Flat Strap. This is a cargo net that will fit virtually any type of cargo carrier out there. This features wide, flat straps on a bungee cord net that is designed to hold more securely and without damage to sensitive or fragile cargo. This also will work on a wide variety of roof racks, too. Again, it has wide hook openings and also wide hooks to grab any type of attachment point. The overall size of this net will be about 36 by 48 inches. We will go ahead and load up the cargo carrier as shown here and install the net. more
