Today we're going to review part number EM09144. This is the Erickson Roller Idler for the E-Track system. This roller idler will let you secure your vehicle by the tie or by the frame to the E-Track system in your trailer. Basically when you tie down your vehicle in your trailer, the ratcheting either needs to be done underneath the car where there usually isn't enough space. And if you try to run the strap out from underneath the car so that you can use the ratchet, the strap will rub against the bumper. This E-Track roller idler will allow you to easily use a ratchet to tighten the strap, while keeping the strap from rubbing the bumper.more

Curt Trailer Cargo Control J-705 Review- Video

Today were going to take a look at the Curt weld-on trailer D-ring number J-705. This ring, as its name implies, is intended to be welded to the side of your trailer as an anchor point. You would weld this piece here over the ring, and then once you have that you have a sturdy and stable anchor point to tie down any items that you would need to transport via your trailer. Taking a look at some of the measurements; well look at the clasp first. It is 2-1/4 inches long. It is 1-5/8 of an inch wide.more

Erickson Trailer Cargo Control 77314 Review- Video

Today, we're going to review part number 77314. This is the Erickson Adjustable Wheel Net with the E-Track Fitting on each end. This adjustable tire strap has the E-Track fittings that'll fit onto your E-Track system that would be installed in your trailer. Stromberg Carlson Bumper Mounted Spare Tire Carrier Review- Video

Today we will be installing the Stromberg Carson rigid tire carrier for use with travel trailers and fifth wheels, part number tr-1. This particular model fits on four-inch square bumpers on the rear of travel trailers and fifth wheels to hold the spare tire. Lets begin by laying out the parts. As you will see there are two u-bolts as well as a lock washer and a nut that will be used to hold the spare tire carrier to the rear bumper. You will also notice that there are two bolts as well as two clips that attach to the upper part of the tire carrier that will be used to hold the tire in place. ATV Ratcheting Tie-Down Anchor System Review- Video

Today we're going to tie our ATV down using part number EM06303 the Erickson one inch by 18 inch tie down assist straps, the lock ring for Snap-Loc E track anchors, part number SLRO and the Erickson ratcheting tie down strap one inch wide by 15 feet long, rated at 1500 pounds, part number EM31350. Now we'll begin by installing our lock ring. We'll simply place it into the anchor and allow it to lock into place. With that done we can move up to our handle bars where we'll use our Erickson tie down assist strap around the handle bar itself. This strap will not damage the finish on the bar. We can then take our Erickson ratcheting tie down, place one end around our nylon strap and the other end around our lock ring.more

Snap-Loc E-Track Tie-Down Anchor Installation - 2003 Ford F-250- Video

On this 2003 Ford F250, we're going to be installing the snap lock tie downs part # SLB25. To install this tie downs, we'll also use the hardware kit part # SLHZ. The first thing we need to do is position our snap locks on the bed of our truck. We'll take a paint marker and use it to mark our drill holes. Once we have our snap locks marked out, we'll go ahead and take a drill and drill out our holes. We also want to make sure that on the underside of the bed, we're not going to drill under anything like fuel lines or electrical systems.more

Rage Powersports Hitch Mounted Motorcycle Carrier Review- Video

Alright. today we are going to review motorcycle carrier, part number AMC400 from Rage Powersports products. OK, this motorcycle carrier is their aluminum version with a tray that holds the bike that is aluminum. Also, the loading ramp is aluminum. However, the main post that goes into the receiver hitch is a painted and primer steel shank. It also comes with an anti-rattle device. So when you install it, it helps to keep it from rattling around a little bit. And the loading ramp is actually stored with the carrier. The carrier does come with a tie-down loop to help tie down your bike, too. There is one on the outboard side and one on the inboard side. There is a bolt in the front where you put your front wheels. It is adjustable. You can take out one bolt for larger size wheels and you install the bolt for a smaller size vehicle. Rackem Trim Line Rack Review- Video

Today we are going to show you part number RA-9 from Rackem. And what this part is is actually a trimmer string line holder. Basically, it mounts up to your trailer wall, like so. What you want to do is hang it on top here on the rack. And this has three predrilled holes to help mount it to the wall. And then we actually do not have any string here, but we have a spool of wire which you can use it for, maybe some electrical companies could use this in your vans or utility trailers. And this will feed your line and you pull out the wire as needed. This could hold one or two rolls, depending on the size of the role itself. To install the reel is pretty simple. You have to take off this wing nut and the line feeder here. Basically, it comes apart and then on the other side, you pull out the rod. To reinstall, just put it back together. The dimensions of this Camlock strap is 2 inches wide by 10 foot long and it is rated for 2000 pounds. We will go ahead and show you a typical application for it. Erickson Motorcycle Ramp Review- Video

Today we are going to show you part number EM07420 from Erickson. What we have here is the 6 foot straight loading ramp constructed out of galvanized steel and there is a pair that comes with this part number. The rating for them is 1,600 pounds. We will go ahead and cover some of the fine points of these ramps. Basically we will show you what pieces you need to put together and the components that come with it. Alright first off the ramps themselves are 12 inches wide by 72 inches long. There is some assembly required. It will have these 2 main beams and you do have to install all these rungs in the ramp. Also these 2 parts that resides lay on top of the tailgate when you use it. There is also this latch on strap here on the side of the ramp. This hook actually will go into a hole on the backside of the ramp underneath. That way you can stack them 2 by 2 beside each other. It also comes with this strap right here to attach to your truck and the other half goes to the ramp so you can tie it onto your truck so it will not go anywhere when you are loading up your motorcycle or whatnot.more

Erikson Car Tie-Down with Axle Straps and Ratchet Review- Video

This is a ratchet strap with dimensions of 2 inches by 8 feet long and is rated for 5,000 pounds. This is intended for a car tie down with a built in axle strap. We will go ahead and show you how it works and how it actually attaches to your vehicle. We will begin with the actual axle strap itself. It has an extra sleeve on here for cushions, so in case you have a show car and you have a detailed under body, this will not scratch up your paint finish. And what it simply does, it just wraps around the axle or cross member and snaps over itself like so. The rest of the strap we have coiled up here, again you have 8 foot length. And the rest of that length will actually go to your ratchet here. To use this, your ratchet end will get tied down to the trailer and your strap will go through the slot here and that just pulls on through. Leave excess alone like that, then take your handle here, pull this lever back, and you ratchet it tight.more

Rackem Trailer Tailgate Lift Installation- Video

First thing we need to do is take the lift assist apparatus and set it on the drivers side railing. Put it as close to the tailgate as possible without interfering with the pins. As you can see we have placed the apparatus on the rail, where there is enough clearance where the pin wont interfere with it, now we want to center it on the railing and mark the holes where were going to drill for the mounting bolts. With the holes marked, we are going to remove the apparatus and drill the holes using a half inch drill bit. Now that we have the holes drilled, we are going to put the lift apparatus back on the rail and the half inch mounting bolts. Now we are going to tighten them down at this time. We have the lift unit installed on the rail here and now we want to put the bracket onto the tailgate. more

Today we are going to show you part number RA-15 from Rackem. Basically, what we have here is a shovel rack for enclosed trailers. This is a real heavy duty shovel rack that will elevate your shovels and keep them close to the wall. But also keeps them easily accessible at the same time. We will now go ahead and show you how it works. You can go ahead and take the top hooks and just catch them on the top edge of your trailer there. This rack hangs from the top right here and holds it in place while you drill in your holes for the mounting screws right here. It has 3 mounting holes to mount it to the side of the wall. Rackem Lubrication Rack for Enclosed Trailers Review- Video

Today we are going to show you part number RA-10 from Rackem. What we have here is a lubrication rack for enclosed trailers. The top half is made to hold arousal cans while the bottom half is more for quarts of oil. Other bins can be added on such as RA-10B the quart size and RA-10C for the gallon size. We will go ahead and hang it on the wall and show you how it looks. You just hang it up on top first to stabilize it. Then you have 4 mounting points here so you can install it to the wall itself. There is also a bottom half that attaches to that. It hangs onto the bottom and again there are 2 more attachment points on the sides. E-Track Cargo Management System Review- Video

Today we are going to show you how to install part number E19148 from Erikson. What we have here is an E-track, this is the 5 foot long model. The actual E-track itself is 1/8 inch thick and the mounting holes are 1/4 inch in diameter. This assembly has a rating of 6,000 pounds. One thing you want to do when mounting the E-track is look for the wall studs on the trailer. In this case we are doing it on a wall but the same thing applies even if you are mounting it on the floor of a trailer. What you want to do is look for the studs in the wall. A dead giveaway, of course, are these screws that hold paneling in place. Across from here to here is the wall stud itself. It is basically a big channel with a couple flat spots on top to attach the plywood to.more

Today we are going to show you part number E59143 from Erikson manufacturing. What we have is a 2X8 strap that fits in to virtually any E-track system. This part is actually rated for 4,000 pounds maximum use. And we will show you how to use it, it is pretty easy stuff. Basically, the little latch here you pull back, put it into the E-track and let it go. It pops right into place and is ready to tie off any object. What is nice about this is you actually get a little more flexibility in mounting. If your strap happens to be a little bit short it gives you a few extra inches. If you have something close to the wall, you do not have the metal hitting on it you have the strap touching it instead.
