Craftec Hatch-Style Tonneau Cover Installation - 1999 Ford Ranger- Video
Today, in our 1999 Ford Ranger, we'll be installing the Craftec Hatch-Style Tonneau cover, Part Number 153923. The first step of our install will be assembling the tonneau cover. Starting with the number 2 and four side rails, we'll take them and set them down with the stickers budding towards each other. To secure the two rails together, we'll use the four inch aluminum splice and feed it halfway in to the 3-1/4 inch channel on both rails. Then we'll take the 6 inch splice brace and the pre-drilled holes and put it over the top of the 4 inch splice. Next, we'll take the 516s bolts and secure the splice brace to the splice and secure the two rails together.more

Bestop EZ Fold Folding Tonneau Cover Installation - 2006 Ford F-150- Video
Today on our 2006 Ford F150 well be installing the Best Top EZ Folding Tonneau cover, part number B1611101. First before we install the tonneau cover well go ahead and remove the protective cover from the weather strip. Simply peel it back and remove it, setting it aside. Now well go ahead and take the tonneau cover, put it up on the bed rails nearest the cab, lining the front edge up with the bulk head of the truck bed. Now well go ahead and adjust it, make it even from side to side. Now with the tonneau cover in position well go ahead and get underneath the tonneau cover, lower the clamp, slide it into place.more

Today on this 2007 Toyota Tundra were going to install part number B1618101 from Best Stop. Were going to start off our Tonneau cover all folded up as it came out of the packaging. Well go head and sit it on the rails of the bed and well pull off the protective coating on the pads underneath. Well go ahead and take it and square it up on the bed. Make sure its square in the corners and then well go ahead and unfold the Tonneau cover all the way in the back. Then well start at the back end and make sure its even front to rear.more

Bestop EZ Fold Folding Tonneau Cover Installation - 2009 Dodge Ram- Video
Today, on our 2009 Dodge Ram Pickup 2500, we'll be installing the Bestop EZFolding Tonneau Cover, part number B1623901.Now, with our tonneau cover ready to be installed, we'll first remove the sealprotection, which is the white stripping along the outer edge. Now, with that removed,we'll go ahead and set the tonneau cover in position. When setting it in position, we'llalign the long edge with the front rail nearest the cab, and the short edges will line upwith the side rails that extend to the rear. And then we'll go ahead and get underneaththe tonneau cover, rotate the clamp down, and slide it over to the side rail. Then we'llrotate it until we pick up any extra slack and lock it into the inner lip of the bed rail.Now we'll go ahead and repeat the same process on the opposite side.Now, with both front clamps secured, we'll go ahead and fold the cover out. Onceagain, we'll go ahead and repeat the same procedure of pulling the clamps down,sliding them out into the bedrail, rotating them until we take up any extra slack, andthen locking them into position.more

TruXedo TruXport Tonneau Cover Installation - 2004 Dodge Dakota- Video
Today on our 2004 Dodge Dakota, we'll be installing part number TX262101 the truck's port tonneau cover from Truxedo. We'll take the two siderails and we'll need to apply the weather seal here on the corner plug, here at the front corner. After doing that, we'll set them in the place on the bedside, where we can then attach our front cover assembly. You wanna make sure that the corner plug slides into the cover assembly like so. Access Toolbox Edition Tonneau Cover Installation - 2012 Ford F-150- Video
Today, on this 2012 Ford F-150, we will be installing the Access roll-up Tonneau cover, part number 834532004782. Our first step will be to install the weather seal at the bulkhead, which is the front wall of the truck bed. We will take our alcohol prep pad, clean the surface, then peel back the 2-way adhesive and adhere the seal to the bulkhead. Then, we are going to go ahead and put our truck box in place, tighten it down so that we can install the front header bar of our Tonneau cover. We will push this up against the truck box with the weather seal facing the box and adhere the side rails with the clamps provided. Now, with our header bar in place, we can go ahead and start attaching the side rail.more

Access TonnoSport Tonneau Cover Installation - 2003 Ford F-250- Video
Today on our 2003 Ford F250, we'll be installing the Access TonnoSport roll-up cover, Part # A22010319. To start, we'll take the passenger side side-rail with the water-strip facing the inside lip of the truck bed and pushed all the way forward on the inside of the bed nearest the cab. Here's where we want the edge of the rail to meet the top edge of the truck bed using spring clamps to hold it in position. Now we'll take the clamps provided with our install kit starting at the forward near the cabin to secure the bed rail to the truck bed. Keep in mind in positioning and tightening your clamp to, one, make sure the clamp grooves is line up with the side-rail grooves and that when you're tightening it down, it brings the side rail flat portion down level with the truck bed. Now let's go ahead and put our little clamps in position and tighten them down.more

TruXedo TruXport Tonneau Cover Installation - 2002 Chevrolet Silverado- Video
Today on this 2002 Chevy Silverado 1500 series short bed, we are going to be installing the Truxedo Truck Sport Tonneau cover, part number tx281101. Okay the first thing we are going to do is go ahead and lay out our two side rails. At the front portion of them where they are going to meet with the front bulk head piece, weve got a couple of pieces on the underside here that need weather stripping applied, and included with the kit are these four pieces of weather stripping, and a two-for-two with the radius cuts in them, go ahead and apply those to the corners. With the weather strips applied, we are going to go ahead and take the center section of our tonneau cover and go ahead and place it on the front section of our pickup bed. If you look here its already folded up out of the box, but on the other side of the front youve got weather stripping and this is the part thats going to set on the front edge of the bed itself. We are going to go ahead and release the straps for the tonneau cover and just go ahead and rotate the front section under the front portion of our truck bed.more

LiteRider Roll-Up Tonneau Cover Installation - 2011 Ford Ranger- Video
Today on this 2011 Ford ranger, well be installing the axis light rider tonneau cover part number 834532000890. You can see Im in the bed of the ranger here and the first thing we need to do is clamp our drivers side rail into place. If you look at the rail you can see theres a flat edge that the tonneau will rest on. On the other side we have the hook and loop fasteners that will secure the tonneau and the next edge will have the weather striping on it. This side will be sitting plush against the inside of the truck bed. Well go ahead and set it in place now.more

TruXedo Deuce Hinged Roll-up Tonneau Cover Installation - 2011 Nissan Titan- Video
Today on this 2011 Nissan Titan we will be installing the Deuce Tunnel Cover from TruXedo, part number tx797101. Alright now this vehicle does have a built in utility track system, so we have to remove the tie down points in the rails, and also the end cap as well. Now our clamps only install like this, but since we have to have access we take the one half of the back, turn it side ways, and install it in the track with the hole on the up side. We want two of these on both ends of the track. There is a seam here, if the track doesnt line up, you could place the other two clamps up near the cab here. Next we will take the other halves of our clamps and loosely install them, then we will take one of our side rails and set it between the track and the clamp.more

TruXedo TruXport Soft Roll-up Tonneau Cover Installation - 1998 Ford F-250- Video
Alright, today on this 1998 Ford F-250 we are going to install part number TX238601 from TruXedo, their TruXport tonneau cover. Alright, you can see we have our parts all laid out. We have our two side rails here and here, our tonneau cover itself for the front and rear rail, and our clamps and some pads that go in the corners. So we will actually start off with the pads. We are just going to fill this corner right here. It just takes up the gap and keeps it a little more weather tight along the corners. We have one on each side to do. Alright, we will go ahead and take our tonneau cover and we are going to lay it across the front rail towards the cab of the truck. Then we will install one of our side rails. And that just slides right in to the side right here, to this inside track. With the passenger side done we will do the driver side. Now we will even out the side rails on the bed of the truck. Once you have the rails installed, go ahead and slide everything up forward to the cab. Make sure that bottom edge is over the top of the truck here. You might have a little bit of overhang and that will be ok. 1:05more

Bestop EZ Fold Tonneau Cover Installation - 2010 Ford F-150- Video
Today on this 2010 Ford F-150 we are going to install the EZ Fold Tonneau Cover from Bestop. We are going to be using part number B1611101. Installing this Tonneau cover is relatively easy. It is very light to install but it is always a good idea to have an extra set of hands. All you have to do is start with the Tonneau cover and just fold it up into position and set it on the rails closest to the cab of the truck. Take it and line it with the front edge of the bed itself. You will notice the clamps are built on to the Tonneau cover itself and it is adjustable left and right to accommodate different bed widths and basically what you do is slide it over and adjust the clamp up and down as needed so you can start off with the clamp as close to the rail as possible. 00:40more

Today on this 2001 Ford F-150 super crew, we are going to install part number TX590601 from TruXedo. This is their QT tonneau cover. The first thing we want to do is go ahead and lay out our parts and we are going to work with our side rails first. If you notice, on the rails here they have these slots right here and the edges are kind of sharp. So, the kit comes with these simple little covers that you just snap over the edges. Access LiteRider Tonneau Cover Installation - 2010 Ford F-150- Video
Today on this 2010 Ford F-150, we are going to install part number 834532004737, the Access tonneau cover LiteRider. The first thing that we need to do is install the side rails that go into the bed of the truck. Alright, we are going to take our first rail. We are working with the driver side. We are just going to hold it up to the inside edge of the top rail of the truck and we will make sure that this edge is flush with this or maybe a little bit higher will work just fine. You will notice on the rail here that we have this plastic edge here. That is where the back part of the tonneau cover locks into place. You want to have this towards the back of the truck when you install the rails. Scoot it all the way towards the front and make sure that touches the front rail. Once we have it the way we want, we are just going to use a clamp just to hold it in place. We will start working on the clamps that will hold it permanently in place. Take your clamp, push it into place. I like to go as far as I can on the inside edge of the rail and try to go as far back as possible. 1:03more

Today on this 1991 Chevrolet S-10 Pickup we will be installing part number TX239101 from Truxedo. Before we get started we are going to take the weather seals that are provided in the kit and attach those to our side rails for our bed cover. They are adhesive so we have to just stick them on there in the right position. We are going to let those sit for now and take our cover assembly and position it to the far most part of the trunk. When positioning this on the truck bed you want to make sure it is going to unroll down to cover your truck bed. So make sure you position it the right way. Today we are going to install part number 245701 from TruXedo. It is their TruXport Tonneau Cover. We are going to install this on a 2007 Toyota Tundra Pick Up Truck. We are going to show you the components of the tonneau cover here. First off we have the actual tonneau cover itself, with the front rail already installed and also the back rail is installed on the back part of the tonneau cover in the inside. It is rolled up now, you can not see it. Next are the clamps that hold the tonneau cover in place. It comes with six clamps and all you need is a 1/2in socket or ratchet wrench to tighten them down. There is only one tool to install all of this. Then you have the two rails, of course the left and right side. And then the foam packing which you see in the middle there that is part of the weather seal that goes underneath the corners of the tonneau cover. more

Today we are going to install part number 91309 from Agri-Cover, and this is their Vanish low-profile roll-up tonneau cover. And we are going to install this on a 2006 Ford Super Duty long-bed pickup. Our first step involved is go ahead and, we are going to do the side rails first. What is going to happen is the rail is going to fit on the inside edge of the bed, pushed all the way to the front of the box. And you want this edge to match the top edge of your bed rail. Once you have it the way you want it, you go ahead and clamp it into place. Then we will go back with the regular, permanent clamps. Go up as far as you can on the bed. And then the other half is adjustable where it matches the teeth in the rail. Now, you want to install your clamps as evenly as possible across the rail.more

Craftec Vinyl Tonneau Cover for Short-Bed Pickups Review- Video
Today we are going to install part number 352730SC from Craftec. What this is, is a vinyl tonneau cover, and we are going to install this on a 2007 Dodge Dakota short-bed pickup. There are a lot of components to this install, but it is not too bad if you break it down into simple little sub-assemblies, as the instructions describe. We will cover some of the parts first to give you an idea of what is going on. First off, we have got these corner pieces here. These corner pieces cover the actual metal corners on the tonneau cover frame itself. We have hardware that threads into the aluminum pieces that actually make their own threads as they go in. We have our latch assemblies right here these work inside the tonneau cover. When you close it and you twist it, it catches underneath the edge of the bed itself. A pull strap to pull it down when the cover is above your head. And these are the clamps that go into the frame and on the bed that your gas shocks mount into. And these are attaching points that go into the track into the frame. You have got the bows to go into that create the bow effect on your tonneau cover, and the the bows are located right here. These are the rails themselves. These are the parts that go longways on the truck, and this part and this part are the ones that go across the truck. Some bed lengths require an extension. In this situation, the bed is so short you do not even have to worry about that. These are the metal corner pieces right here that actually get the frame bolted together and locked into place. And these little angle brackets here will eventually hold the hinge part of the tonneau cover, and also one-half of that will get clamped into place onto the bed itself. Lastly, we have the tonneau cover itself. One good tip about this is if you keep it warm overnight so it stays nice and pliable, that makes it a lot easier to work with.more

Today we are going to install part number TX777601 from TruXedo. This is their Deuce Tonneau Cover. First we will show you how it installs. Some tonneau covers actually sit on top of the rails. In this case, it is actually going to sit on the inside edge of the rail itself. We will start off by installing the rails first. It is kind of a good idea to have an extra set of hands here. What you want to do is mount it up against the side of the rail and push this little seal here against the tailgate just a little bit. When you have got it into the position you want, go ahead and take the clamps and install it onto one side of the rail and on the inside of the bed rail. What you are aiming for here is to actually have this as level as possible. All right, next what we will do is install the rails that actually support this while it is in use. We will just fold this out of our way, and the rail will get installed like this. Try to get it as even as possible with the other rail and then clamp it in place just like the first one.more

Access Roll Up Tonneau Cover Installation- Video
The tools you will need to install your new roll up cover include, two 9/16 inch wrenches, a power wrench is optional, one spring clamp, one scissor, a measuring tape, and some protective eyewear. Start by cutting the bands and opening the box. Review instructional material and save it for future reference. Unpack the smaller contents and lay them on the tailgate.Leave the vinyl cover rolled up, and set near the box for now. Lay the left side rail on the driver side with nylon bracket to the rear of the truck. Then lay the right side rail on the passenger side, again with the nylon bracket to the rear. Now open the hardware bag and layout four clamps for each side rail. Wearing protective eyewear, align the left side rail on the driver side of the box. Slide it forward to the front, keeping it flush with the outside of the box. Use a spring clamp to temporarily hold the rail in its proper position.Place the first clamp under the front of the rail about 8 inches from the front of the box and tighten with a 9/16 inch wrench.more
