Thule Flat Top Ski and Snowboard Carrier Review - 2013 Ford Explorer- Video

Today on our 2013 Ford Explorer well be test fitting the Thule flat top ski and snowboard carrier part #: TH92725. Our vehicles already equipped with the Thule Aeroblade system and our ski carrier is already preassembled, so were ready to go ahead and fit it to the vehicle. Well simply place it on the top of the front load bar and using the rubber coated seal straps well bring them around and attach them to the other side of the clamping device. Go ahead and tighten down your front carrier straps by using the gray knob. With our front carrier installed well now move to the rear, again, repeating the same process as we did with the front, securing it to the rear load bar. With our rear carrier secured were now ready to go ahead and load our skis and snowboard.more

Today on our 2008 Nissan Sentra well be test fitting the Thule Flat Top Ski and Snowboard Carrier, part number th92725. To begin our test fit well simply place the front carrier over the front crossbar and bring the rubber-coated steel straps around underneath the crossbar securing it back to the foot of the carrier. We can then go ahead and tighten the gray knob. We will do this on both sides of the carrier. With the front carrier installed, we can go ahead and move to the rear carrier where we will repeat the same procedure only this time we want to make sure that we line up the rear half with the front half. With the rear carrier installed, we are now ready to load our skis and snowboards.more

Today on our 2014 Jeep Patriot, well be test fitting the Thule Flattop Ski and Snowboard carrier, part number th92725. To begin our test fit, well simply place the front carrier over the front load bar and bring the rubber coated steel straps around underneath the load bar and secure it back to the foot of the carrier. We can then tighten down the gray knob which will bring the back clamp around and secure it to the vehicle. We will do this on both sides of the carrier. With the front carrier installed we can move to the rear carrier where again we will repeat the same process, only this time were going to want to make sure that our rear carrier lines up nicely with our front carrier. With the rear carrier installed, were now ready to load our snowboard and skis.more

Today on our 2012 GMC Acadia well be test fitting the Yakima FatCat 6 locking roof top ski and snowboard carrier part number Y03088. Now with our roof rack system already assembled onto our vehicle, well begin our test fit by placing the front part of the carrier onto the front crossbar. Well then open up the jaws of the carrier and bring the rubber coated steel straps around the underside of the crossbar and hook them into position. With the jaws of the carrier open, we do expose the black levers. Once the rubber coated steel strap is in position we can tighten down those levers securing the straps to the carrier, securing the carrier to the vehicles crossbar. Now with the front part of the carrier loaded up, well set the rear part of the carrier onto the rear crossbar.more

Well loosen up the grey knobs if necessary to bring the rubber coated steel straps around the underside of the crossbar. Well then hook them back into the head of the carrier. We will repeat these steps for the other bracket at the other side of the carrier. Now to begin our test fit, well take the front carrier, place it over the top of our front crossbar and bring the rubber-coated steel straps around underneath the crossbar and latch them back to the carrier attachment point. Once theyre locked in place on either side, we can then open up the carrier, tighten down the wing nut and clamp it into place. With that our carrier on the front crossbar is now secured. Well now place the rear carrier on top of the rear crossbar and repeating the same procedure clamp it down and then make sure its secured to the rear crossbar. Today on our 2011 Chevrolet Equinox, we're going to be test fitting the Thule Flattop Ski and Snowboard Carrier, part number TH92725. To mount our carrier to our roof rack, we'll take the first half of the carrier and set it up on top of our front load bar. We'll feed the speed link straps around the load bar, re-securing them to the back head and then tighten them down with the wing knobs. Once we have the first half of our carrier installed, we'll take the second half and place it on the rear load bar. We do want to make sure that the second half lines them nicely with the front half so we can carry our skis and snowboards in a straight line. Again, we'll fit the straps around and repeat the same tightening procedure that we use in the front.more

Note that you may need to turn the red knob on the inside of the top bracket to tighten down the strap. After locking the rubber coated steel strap into position, we can then turn the black lever on the inside of the jaws to secure it in place. Today on our 2010 Chevy Cobalt, well be test fitting the Yakima Fatcat 6 Locking Rooftop Ski and Snowboard Carrier, part number Y03088.Now to begin our test fit, we'll set the first part of the carrier onto the front crossbar. We'll bring the rubber coated metal straps around the underside of the front crossbar. We'll open up the carrier to have access to the clamp on the inside. We'll clamp the end of the rubber coated steel strap into position and on the inside of the carrier, tighten down the lever and snap them into position. We'll then repeat this for the other side of the carrier.Note, that you cannot tighten down to secure the carrier to the crossbars without having access to the levers on the inside of the carrier.Now that the front carrier is secured to the vehicle, we'll set the rear part of the carrier onto the rear crossbar and we'll repeat the same steps. By opening up the carrier, bringing the rubber coated steel straps around the underside of the crossbar and snapping them into position.We'll then tighten down the levers on the inside of the carrier and secure them.more

We can then turn the grey knob, drawing up the rubber coated steel strap and securing the carrier to the crossbar. Well do that on both sides of the carrier which will secure our front carrier to our front crossbar. Well now move onto the rear carrier, where well repeat the same steps installing it the same way as we did the front carrier, although well want to make sure that the rear carrier is in line with our front carrier, to make sure we can maximize the use of our ski and snowboard carrier.more

We'll bring the rubber coated steel straps around the underside of the crossbar, hook them in position, tighten down the straps to the crossbar. Once we've done this for the driver's side and the passenger's side of the vehicle, we can move to the rear of the vehicle where we will repeat the same steps as we did for the first part of the carrier. Today we have with us a 2007 Honda Civic. Were going to be test fitting the Thule Flattop Ski and Snowboard Carrier, part number TH92725. To fit our carrier on top of our roof rack well place the first half of the carrier on top of our front load bar. Well feed the speed link straps around, secure them back to the clamp and use the hand knob to tighten them down. To mount the second half well place it up on our rear bar, make sure that it lines up with the first and repeat the same tightening procedure. Well use the gray hand knobs to tighten the straps around our load bar. With our front half secured, we can move on to the rear. Today we have with us a 2003 Toyota RAV4 and were going to be test fitting the Thule Flattop Ski and Snowboard carrier, part number TH92725. Our RAV4s already equipped with a full factory roof rack, so were ready to go ahead and mount our accessories. Well take the first half of the Flattop Ski and Snowboard carrier and set it on top of our front bar. Well feed the speed link straps around the bar secure them back to the clamping head and tighten them down with the wing nuts. Once weve got the wing nuts secured, well take the second half of our carrier, fit it over the rear bar, and make sure its lined up with the front. Again, well tighten it down the same way we did the front.more

Today on our 2008 Toyota RAV4, were going to do a test fit of the Thule Flat Top Ski and Snowboard carrier, part number TH92725. Our RAV4 already has a factory roof rack system, so were going to mount our Flat Top directly to the manufacturers crossbars. Well take the first half of the carrier and set it up on top of our front crossbar. Well feed the speed link straps around the crossbar, re-secure them to the heads, and use the hand knobs to tighten them down. Once we have the front half secure, well grab the second half and place it up on top of our rear bar. We just want to make sure that the rear half of the carrier lines up nicely with the front half and well use the same tightening procedure with the straps on the rear half.more

Today, we have got with us a 2010 Infinity FX35. We are going to be test fitting the Thule Flat Top ski and snowboard carrier, part number TH92725. Our FX35 already has a full factory roof rack so we are going to mount our Flat Top directly to the factory cross bars. To do this, we will take the first half of the carrier, sit it up on top of our crossbar and feed the speed link strap around the bar and back to the speed link head. Then we will use the hand knobs to tighten down the straps on both sides of the vehicle. Next, we will take the second half and set it up on top of our bar.more

Today on this 2012 Nissan Versa we're going to be test fitting the Thule Flattop Ski and Snowboard Carrier, part number TH92725. To fit the carrier to our roof rack we'll place half the carrier up on top of our front load bar. We'll take the speed link straps, feed them around the load bar and back to the head and tighten it down with the included hand knob. We'll take the second half of the carrier, place it up on top of the rear load bar and make sure that it's sitting even with the first. We'll repeat the same procedure for tightening the straps down that we did with the front. With that our carrier is mounted to our vehicle and we're ready to load up our skis and snowboards.more

Thule Flat Top Ski and Snowboard Carrier Review - 2012 Dodge Charger- Video

Alright, today on this 2012 Dodge Charger, we're going to do a test fit of part number TH92725, the Thule Flat Top Ski and Snowboard Carrier. Our Charger already has a Thule Roof Rack installed using AeroBlade crossbars and our Flat Top is already assembled according to the instructions. So what we have to do is fit it on top of our rack. We'll start off our test fit by placing the first half of the ski rack on the rack and run the straps underneath the crossbar and to the clip on the other side. Then we'll loosely tighten them down. Once it's loosely installed, we can move it around into the position we want.more

Thule Flat Top Ski and Snowboard Carrier Review - 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe- Video

Today on our 2010 Hyundia Santa-Fe we will be test fitting the Thule Flat Top Ski and Snowboard Carrier, Part Number th92725. To begin our test fit, we will simply place the front carrier over the front cross bar and bring the rubber coated steel straps around underneath the cross bar and secure it back to the foot of the carrier. We can then tighten down the grey knob which will bring the back clamp around and secure it to the vehicle. We will do this on both sides of the carrier. With the front carrier installed, we can move to the rear carrier where again, we will repeat the same procedure. Only this time, we are going to want to line it up with the front carrier to make it easier to load our skis and snowboard.more

Today on our 2010 Jeep Compass, we'll be test fitting, part number TH92725, the Thule Flattop Ski and Snowboard Carrier. To begin our test fit, we'll place the front carrier over the top of the front load bar; we'll bring the rubber coated steel straps underneath the load bar and secure them back to the carrier. We can then tighten them down using the gray wing nut on the foot mount. With the front carrier installed, we'll move to the rear carrier, where we'll repeat the same procedure, making sure that the rear carrier is in line with the front carrier for ease of loading. Now that our rear carrier is secured, we're ready to load our skis and snowboard. We'll push the gray button on the top of the carrier to open the carrier.more
