Today on our 2013 Volkswagen Touareg, well be test fitting the Thule Pulse Large Rooftop Cargo Box matte black in color with 14 cubic feet of space part number TH614. Now to begin our test fit well simply place the cargo box onto our vehicles crossbars. Loosening up the claws before setting the box onto the vehicles crossbars may allow easier installation. Well now position the box onto the center of the vehicles crossbars. Well then use the key to open up the lid to expose the knobs on the bottom part of the cargo box. Well turn the knobs, tightening the claws, securing the cargo box to our vehicle's crossbars.more

Today on our 2008 Mercury Mariner, well be test fitting the Thule Mother of all Baskets Rooftop Cargo Carrier part number TH690XT. To install the cargo carrier fit it on your crossbars and put it in line with your vehicle. Once you have it the way that you would like it situated, swing the clamps under the crossbars and tighten them down using the gray twist knob. Once you have all four clamps secured, go ahead and fit the covers over each clamp. Our cargo carrier is installed and it's ready to go. Thule Pulse Alpine Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2013 Ford Explorer- Video
Today well be doing a test fit of the Thule Pulse Alpine rooftop cargo box measuring 11 cubic feet on our 2013 Ford Explorer. Our Explorer comes with the factory mounted rails and we have installed the Thule Aeroblade load bars on top of those factory rails. To install the cargo box begin by placing the cargo box on top of your load bars. When doing so make sure that the feet of the clamps hanging out of the bottom of the cargo box simply go around the load bars. Then, go ahead and open up the cargo box and tighten each clamp by using the easy grip mounting hardware located inside. When you have each clamp tightened and secured you are ready to close your cargo box.more

Today on our 2013 Ford Explorer, well be test fitting the Thule Pulse Large Rooftop Cargo Box 14 Cubic feet, part number TH614. Our Explorer already has the factory rails installed and it also has a set of our Aero Blade Roof Racks. To install this carrier you want to go ahead and place it onto of your load bars. Make sure that when placing it on top of your load bars that the clamps are secured around each bar. Once you have it centered in line with your vehicle, go ahead and open up your cargo box, go ahead and tighten each clamp by twisting the knobs inside. Once you have each clamp secure and tightened, go ahead and close the cargo box and turn the key in the lock position.more

Today on our 2013 Volkswagen Touareg we'll be test fitting the Thule Force L Rooftop Cargo Box Aeroskin black in color with 13 cubic feet of space, part number th624. To begin our test fit we'll simply place the cargo box on to the vehicles crossbars. It may be easier to loosen up the claws of the cargo box before placing it on to the vehicle. We'll then use the key to open one side of the cargo box to expose the two closest knobs. We'll turn the knobs to tighten down the claws to secure one side of the box to the vehicles crossbars. We'll then close the lid and open up the other side of the cargo box repeating the same steps.more

Today on our 2008 Nissan Sentra we'll be test fitting the Thule Pulse Large Roof Top Cargo Box, part number th614. To install the carrier all we need to do is go ahead and place our cargo box on top of our crossbars and you'll notice that we already had our clamps opened up. This makes it easier when installing our cargo box to our crossbars. We'll allow them to go inside over our crossbars, we'll open the lid and we'll tighten down the four gray knobs securing our cargo box to our vehicle. Thule MOAB Roof Top Cargo Basket Review - 2008 Nissan Sentra- Video
Today on our 2008 Nissan Sentra we're going to be test fitting the Thule Mother of All Baskets Roof Top Cargo Carrier, part number th690xt. It's good to go ahead and pre-measure how far your crossbars on your vehicle are away from each other that way you can preset the brackets on the cargo carrier. To load our cargo basket we'll simply place it on top of our crossbars, lining up the security clamps with our load bars. Once we have the clamps around our load bars we can go ahead and thread through the bolt and tighten it with a wing nut. We repeat that process for all the clamps. Once we have all of our clamps tightened down we can then put on the covers that go over each clamp.more

Today on our 2014 Jeep Patriot, well be test fitting the Thule Pulse Alpine rooftop cargo box, part number th613. To begin our test fit, well place the carrier on top of our load bars. Then we can open up our cargo box and go ahead and tighten down each clamp using the gray hand knobs. Once we have our clamps secured to our load bars were then ready to load up some of our accessories. With this particular vehicle in this box when trying to access our rear hatch door, we see that it does make contact with the cargo box, even with the cargo box set as far forward as possible. To begin our test, we can go ahead and set our clamps on our carrier, the distance that our load bars are already set at. In this case its about 27-1/2. With our clamps set we can go ahead and load our cargo carrier on top of our vehicle. Once we get it positioned the way that we want it, we can then go around and tighten down each clamp. Today on our 2013 Dodge Ram pickup 1500 series truck, we'll be test fitting the Yakima LoadWarrior roof rack cargo basket, part number Y07070. With our vehicle equipped with the Yakima roof rack system and our cargo basket preassembled, we're ready to go ahead and fit it to the vehicle. We'll need to simply set the cargo basket on top of the cross bars, center it from left to right with the vehicle. We'll then secure it using the included hardware with the basket. With our basket secured, we'll go ahead and give you a height measurement added to the vehicle, and this basket will add approximately 10" to the overall height of the vehicle. Today on our 2013 Volkswagen Passat, we'll be test fitting the Thule Moab, also known as the "Mother of all Baskets," part number TH690XT. Now with the roof rack system already assembled onto our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing the cargo basket onto the vehicle's cross bars. For today's demonstration, we'll make sure the basket is centered onto the vehicle's cross bars. Note, this basket does not have to be centered, as you can carry other roof rack accessories as well as the basket at the same time. One our cargo basket is centered onto the vehicle, we can loosen up the brackets to bring the black bracket on the underside of the vehicle's cross bars. We'll then thread the bolt through the brackets and use the gray wing nuts to tighten it down to secure the cargo basket to the vehicle.more

Today on our 2013 Volkswagen Passat, well be test fitting the Kuat Vagabond S Roof Mounted Cargo Basket, part number VX01. Now with the roof rack system already assembled on our vehicle, well begin our test fit by placing the cargo basket onto the vehicles crossbars. Well position the cargo basket onto the crossbars and place the first set of brackets, which rest on the cargo basket and the top part of the crossbar into position. Well place all four of them, well then take the round circular bracket, which is coated in rubber and the flat black metal bracket with the two wing nuts and well place that over the top of the cargo basket and underneath of the crossbar. Well then use the two black wing nuts to tighten it down to secure the carrier to the vehicle. Well then repeat these steps for all three of the other brackets.more

When installing this cargo box, we came into contact with the rear antenna. In this case, the rear antenna was removable by simply untwisting it. We decided to go ahead and remove the antenna so our cargo box would be a better fit on the CR-V. With a sleek and long aerodynamic style of this box, it's important to know that you will not be able to open up your hatch without the cargo box and your rear hatch door coming in contact.more

One great feature of this RocketBox is its ability to open from both sides. So for todays test fit, were going to be positioning the cargo box towards the passenger side of the vehicle. Now with the roof rack system already assembled on our vehicle, well start off our test fit by placing the RocketBox onto the vehicles crossbars. Well then open it up exposing the four red T-handles. Well loosen up the four red T-handles to allow us to bring the brackets around the underside of the crossbars. We can then tighten them down to secure the brackets to the crossbars securing the RocketBox to the vehicle.more

Today on our 2012 Honda Civic Sedan, well be test fitting the Yakima LoadWarrior Roof Rack Cargo Basket, part number Y07070. Kuat Vagabond Roof Cargo Basket Review- Video
Today we will be reviewing the Kuat Vagabond X Roof Mounted Cargo Basket and Two Bike Carrier, part number VX01. To begin todays review well start with the installation with the roof rack system already assembled and on to a vehicle well start our installation by sliding the Vagabond on top of our crossbars. It is important to make sure that the cargo basket is even on both sides of the crossbars to ensure a sleek and stylish look. After positioning the Vagabond on to the cross bars well start with the first set of brackets where the bracket will rest on the crossbars, well then repeat this for all three of other brackets. Well then take the second set of brackets to rest on the top side of the previous bracket we just installed. Well now take the round steel bracket to go underneath the crossbar and use the included ring knots to tying down the bracket to secure the carrier to the vehicle.more

Kuat Vagabond Roof Cargo Basket Review - 2013 Toyota Corolla- Video
Today on our 2013 Toyota Corolla well be test fitting the Kuat Vagabond X Roof Mounted Cargo Basket, part number vx01. Now with our roof rack system already assembled on our vehicle, well begin our test fit by placing the cargo basket onto the vehicles crossbars. Well then position the cargo basket on the center of the vehicles crossbars. Well then place the thick black plastic pad on the underside of the cargo basket and rest on the top of the crossbar. Well then bring the flat black plastic bracket around the topside of the basket and the round bracket with the rubber-coated surface around the underside of the bracket and use the black wing nuts to tighten down the brackets to secure the basket to the vehicles crossbar. And, now, with the brackets tightened down and secured to the vehicle, were ready to load up some gear.more

Today on our 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee well be test fitting part number th624. This is the Thule Force Large Rooftop Cargo Box. Now, to fit it to our vehicle, well simply place the box on top of our crossbars. Now, youll notice that our clamps are completely undone so well make sure the clamps go around our crossbars. Well then start here on the drivers side where well open the cargo box and tighten down the two gray handles on either of the left side clamps. Well then do the other side and close the lid.more

Thule Sonic Large Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee- Video
Today on our 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee well be test fitting part number th634b, the Thule Sonic Large Rooftop Cargo Box. To begin our test fit well go ahead and it on top of our crossbars here on top of our Jeep Grand Cherokee. Well then adjust our box making sure that the clamps fit around both the front crossbar as well as the rear crossbar, and that our box is centered with the vehicle. Well also go ahead and open are cargo door to make sure that when we secure the box its out of the way of the cargo door itself. We can then work our way around to each of the four clamps tightening down the knobs until they click indicating they are secured and at the proper torque. Now, a great feature of the Sonic is that its ability to open the lid from either the passenger side or the drivers side.more

Today on our 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee, well be test fitting part number TH615. This is the Thule Pulse XL Rooftop Cargo Box. Its a very quick and easy fit to your Grand Cherokee. Well place it on top of our crossbars, where well take the clamps, pass them through the carrier, and make sure they go around our crossbars. We can then tighten down the gray knob within the carrier, closing down the clamps, securing our cargo box to the Grand Cherokee. After doing that with all four clamps, our cargo box is secured and were ready to load it up and head on down the road.more

Today on our 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee well be test fitting part number th625. This is the Thule Force XL Rooftop Cargo Box. To fit it to our Grand Cherokee, well place it on top of the crossbars making sure that our clamps fit around the crossbars. Now that weve made sure that our cargo box is on top of the roof, and that our clamps are around the crossbars, well center it with the vehicle where we can open it from the passenger side first and tighten down the two gray knobs within the cargo box securing the passenger side of our cargo box to the Grand Cherokee. Well move over to the drivers side where we can use the key to unlock the drivers side of our carrier and open the lid from the drivers side. Well now go ahead and tighten the two gray knobs here on the drivers side which will secure our cargo box to the vehicle.more

Now weve already gone ahead and passed the clamps through the cargo box, so as we load it youll notice that our clamps are open and well make sure that they go over the top of both the front and rear crossbar. We can then make sure that our box is centered with the vehicle, where well tighten down the gray knobs inside the cargo box, clamping the clamps to the crossbars, securing our box to the vehicle. With all four clamps tight, our cargo box is secured and were ready to load it up.more
