Today we're going to install the Swagman Around-the-Spare-Tire Might Rack, part number S80500. As you will notice, this bike rack is designed so that your spare tire can remain bolted to your rear bumper, as well as bolt this bike rack around it. This bike rack is designed to carry two bikes with a maximum weight capacity of 70 pounds. First we'll take the two sections of foam supplied and place it on the top of the bike rack in between the two holes where the tie downs will be located. This will give a little extra protection to your bike. Once you feed the four J hooks through, you may use the handles that have a bolt recessed into them to snug them down.more

Today were going to review part number S80500. This is the Swagman Around the Spare Bike Rack. This bike rack is designed to fit on your RV when you have a spare tire on the back, and your RV does not have a hitch to be able to fit a hitch bike rack. So what you can do to still carry the bikes on your RV is you can install this bike rack. Basically what you would do is these U bolts would install around your square bumper on your RV. your spare tire would be located right here and youll still have availability to hang two bikes onto this bike rack.more

Swagman has been in business for about 20 years. We actually pioneered the hitch mounted bike rack industry. The company was started by a couple, their names were Jim and Jane Morris. Jim was in Australia and found the idea, and brought it back to North America. So in that time, the first 10 years, we were basically pioneering the whole hitch mounted idea of carrying a bike on the back of a vehicle. We always believed in it because first, it is more cost effective. It is cheaper to install a hitch and a bike rack then it is to do a full roof mount where you have to put load bars on and then buy four separate racks. :38more

Swagman Camper Roof Mount Bike Rack Review- Video
Today we are going to be showing you part number S80550 from Swagman. This is their pop-up camper, roof mount, four-bike rack. A couple of features about this rack are that it does carry up to four bikes as we stated before, it fits on the roof of most pop-up trailers, it is really light duty, so there is not much weight up on the roof, it is constructed entirely out of aluminum, which is nice so you do not have to worry about rust or corrosion on it. Also it has foam bumpers on the legs to help prevent wear and tear on the camper"s roof. Also the adjustable tire rails can accommodate three bike styles, including the touring bikes, standard bikes and mountain bikes. It also comes complete with a set of tie-down straps, some bungee cords and hardware to secure the rack to the roof of the trailer itself. What comes with the roof rack is the tie-down mount here. What this does is it gets bolted into place on top of one of the roof supports. And it does come complete with a set of screws to do that.more
