Blaylock Industries Locks BLTL-34 Review- Video

Blaylock Industries Locks BLTL-34 Review

Today were going to review part number BLTL-34. This is the Blaylock Easy Lock Trailer Coupler Lock for 2 5/16 ball couplers that have a flat or a rolled lip. This coupler lock will prevent theft of your trailer on a trailer that has a ball coupler that has the flat or the rolled lip. Basically this lock would fit over the couplers lip and it fully surrounds where the hitch ball would normally hook to and it will block access to the hitch ball opening. Im trying to give you an example here. I pulled a coupler that fits on a 2 5/16-inch hitch ball just to demonstrate how this lock would work, and again basically as you can see it has the rolled or flat lip right here all the way around, so basically you would just put this over that.more

To install the tailgate lock all you have to do is open the tailgate and pull off the one hinge just for a little bit and then we can install the lock. Take the lock and push it off to the side and slide it over the tailgate itself and the pin. Work it into place. Then install the lock with the key up. Push it down until it is tight and it just stays there. Now the tailgate can not be removed. And you can still close the tailgate. If a need ever arises to remove the tailgate all you have to do is use the key, unlock it, and reverse the procedure. There you have it for part number LH-090 from Bully.more

Master Lock Truck Bed Security Lock Review- Video

Master Lock Truck Bed Security Lock Review

Today we are going to review part number 8287DAT from Master Lock, the truck bed security you lock and also accompanying part number 78DPF this is their Master Lock 10 millimeter braided security cable. First thing we will go over is the components of the lock itself. You can see it has the mount that goes to the truck bed itself, the actual lock, and the U bolt part and then also it comes with an Allen key and also a set of keys. This unit we will mount to the truck bed in two different ways. First off as shown here that the hardware is used to install it to the stake pocket on the top of the bed itself. This lock can also replace one of the tie down points on the bed of the vehicle. To begin our install what we are going to have to do is actually take apart the lock and that is a good way to show you how it works. 00:41more

Fifth Wheel Hitch Installation - 2005 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty- Video

Fifth Wheel Hitch Installation - 2005 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty

Today on this 2005 Ford F-350 Super Duty we are going to install part number 30847-30073 from Reese. There are two ways to get the rails underneath the bed of the truck. What we are going to do is in this case we are going to actually loosen the bed bolts up and pushing that up we will have access. If you can not get the bolts loose then the next best thing you can do is put two cuts into the sheet metal underneath the bed and pry it up out of the way so you can slide the rails in. If we were to cut the bed what we would do is just make a notch here and a notch here and then we just take some vise- grips or some pliers and just pull the sheet metal up and out of our way. Then we can slide the cross member in. Okay we put some spacers between the frame and the bed of the truck just to give us a little extra working room. 00:47more
