Husky Shield Headlight Protectors Installation - 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee- Video

Today we'll be installing the Husky Head Lamp Guards, part number HL06417. Before beginning the installation, open up the package and make sure that the head light film guard layout supplied with the product matches the actual film that will be installed on the headlight. You'll notice the Husky Head Lamp Guard Kit, it does come with a film, an application card, some installation solution, and a clay bar. We'll also need in addition to those a 32 oz spray bottle, a blow dryer and some quality paper towels or lint free cloths. You may also want to have an extra spray bottle full of soap and water. Husky Shield Headlight Protectors Installation - 2009 Dodge Ram 1500- Video

Today on this 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 were gonna be installing a Husky Shield Headlight Guard System from Husky Liners part number HL06647.The headlight guards are a fin thats going to go over the surface of our headlights to protect them from road debris, bugs and exposure to the sun.First thing we need to do before installing the headlight guards is to prep our surface. Included with the headlight guards as well as the installation kit are small pieces of clay. These clay bars are going to be used to remove debris bugs and any embedded particles off the surface of our headlights. Weve take a spray bottle and made a soapy water solution that well use to lubricate as we run the clay across the surface to clean the headlights. Youll feel little bits of debris that are embedded in the plastic come up. Youll also feel things like bug guts and other dirt come off as you slide the clay on the surface.more

Alright, today on this 2008 Toyota Prius, we are going to install part number WTH0138W from WeatherTech. And this is their headlight protection kit. What this item does is basically protects the lens of your headlight from bugs flying into it, bits of road tar impacting it or rocks coming off other vehicles. It just gives you a little bit more protection on the front end of your vehicle. Alright, the first thing we are going to do is we are going to start off by cleaning off the lens itself.
