Today on this fifth wheel trailer were going to install part number UF35-946213. This is the Ultra-Fab Trailair Air-Ride 5th Wheel King Pin. The first thing were going to do install this is go ahead and remove the original pin box. On this particular unit, there will be two bolts on each side we have to remove. Well also remove the electrical for the breakaway switch out of the way just to give us a little more working room. To make it a little bit easier for us, we are using the pallet and a fork-truck to hold the pin box while we lower it down to the ground.more

Today were going to install part number 5AB-E1621-16K. This is a 5th Airborne Premium 5th Wheel Air Ride Coupler. Before we take out the old pin box well get a measurement from the bottom of the pin box down to the ground so we can match her a new one to the same height. Were going to start off our install by removing the original pin box. Well also remove the breakaway switch. Well just unbolt it and just let it hang off to the side for now and also removing the wires for electrical.more

Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Ultra-Fab Rota-Flex 5th Wheel Pin Box with Rubber Bushings by TrailAir, part number UF35-946202. This pin box will replace the standard Lippert 1621 pin box on your trailer. It has a shock-absorbing rubber bushings here at the plate as well as in the hinge of this pin box that is designed to help minimize trucking, giving you a smoother ride. As I said, the king pin will pivot on the pin box itself to help keep the king pin horizontal with the trailer. Its sturdy steel construction offers 18,000 GTW. Fifth Gear Fifth Wheel King Pin 5AB-E1621-16K Review

Today, were going to review part number 5AB-E1621-16K. This is the Reese 5th Airborne Premium Fifth Wheel Air Ride Coupler. The Air Ride Coupler will bolt on to the trailer using the existing holes on your trailer. The way it operates there is an Air Nipple on the side right here. Reese recommends to always carry 10 psi in the air bag inside. It's usually best when you first install it to air it up to 70 to 80 psi.more

Today on this fifth wheel camper, we'll be removing the old pin box and installing a new turret and Sidewinder from Reese, product number RP61420. As we said earlier, before we can install our new turret, we have to remove the old pin box. To do that, we'll remove these four bolts on both sides. However, we also have to remove this breakaway switch and trailer wiring before we can remove the pin box. Bolts simply unscrew from their current positions. With all of our electrical components removed, we can remove our four fasteners.more
