Putco Window Visors Installation - 2012 Dodge Ram- Video
Today on our 2012 Dodge Quad cab Pickup well be installing the Putco element window channel visors, part number P580137. Starting here on the passenger side well go ahead and lower the window. We can go ahead and remove the adhesive cover. Starting next to the mirror down at the bottom near the window opening well put the visor into the window channel. Well go ahead and flex the visor so that we can get the opposite in into the window channel and then work the center into the window channel. Be advised that if the adhesive catches the window trim that youll need to go ahead and slide a flat bladed screwdriver or a trim panel tool in so that the window visor gets all the way up into the window channel.more

WeatherTech Window Visor Installation - 2011 GMC Acadia- Video
Today on this 2011 GMC Acadia, we're going to install part number WT82457 from WeatherTech. This is our Side Window Deflectors. Our first step is to go ahead and make sure the S clip is installed properly on the edge of the door. We'll peel back the weather strip and slide into place. We'll just keep it about 3 inches away from the very top of the window line. Next, we'll go ahead and install the front of the part.more

Putco Window Visor Installation - 2012 Chevrolet Silverado- Video
Today on our 2012 Chevy Silverado were going to install the Putco element in channel window visor part #: p580056. This set comes with 4 window visors, one for each door. Well start here with the drivers front. The drivers front visor will mostly sit inside the window channel starting from the rear working your way forward and then its getting front flange thats going to go in between the outside weather stripping and the mirror, will sit just like this once its installed. Now lets go ahead and pull it back out, well remove the side of the 2 way adhesive and go ahead and put it in place permanently. Again, well be putting a 2 way adhesive up into the window channel, as we work our way forward well get the flange started in between the outside weather stripping and the mirror.more

WeatherTech Window Visor Installation - 2009 Dodge Ram Pickup 1500- Video
We are going to be installing WeatherTech side window deflectors, part number WT80503. So, I am going to start by installing it here at the front, making sure that this piece is on the outside. We are going to the recessed areas and these are in channel visors. So we want the top sections, the thinned out portion, to go ahead and to sit inside the channel. And then with the front corner ed, we just actually want to go to t he rear section of the air deflector. When it is just sitting on top, it actually overlaps the door quite a bit. So what we are going to have to do is actually fold it down so that it can be ed into the channel. You can see there is quite a bit of flex in t he window visor. You want to make sure that you are not installing this in any weather that is under 50 degrees because that bending of the visor could actually crack the visor if it is not warm enough. 0:47more

WeatherTech Air Deflectors Review - 2003 Volkswagen Jetta- Video
Today we are going to review part number WT89008 from WeatherTech. This is their sunroof wind deflector. This is the wind noise we have cruising about 55 to 60 miles an hour. We will compare this after the installation and then we will see how much of a difference we have. In this instance we are going to install on a 2003 Volkswagen Jetta. This is the typical set of hardware that we are going to install on the wind deflector and this part actually grips the edge of the sheet metal at the sunroof, this is a protective ring for the screw where it goes to the plastic on the wind deflector and this part here attaches to the screw which holds everything together. Lets do a quick sub assembly right now. These two pieces slide together. They get screwed together just like this and the wind deflector would be in the middle. 00:49more

Putco Window Visor Installation - 2003 Ford F-250- Video
Alright, today we are going to review part number P580203 from Putco. This is their Element tinted polycarbonate window visor. A couple of features about the window visor is that it has a simple, in-channel installation, so it fits in the same channel as the window itself. It has a moisture-wicking, beaded edge that helps you remove moisture from the visor. It is a precise fit for the vehicle so it is designed for the actual door itself. WeatherTech Air Deflectors Reveiw - 2008 Toyota Prius- Video
Today on this 2008 Toyota Prius we are going to install part number WT82357. Some of the features of the air deflectors are one, that they are designed to reduce noise and also allows ventilation for the vehicle itself even when it rains. They are easy to install inside the window channel with no exterior tape needed. It provides a low profile original equipment look. You want to begin with the window lowered and you can see how this edge will fit into the track just like that. I would like to start on that side and then going towards the front of the vehicle, just bow it into place. Make sure it fits into the track and then just bow it in. Make sure you follow the channel so it goes into place. It may help to flex it a little bit like this to get it in there. That slipped in just fine. 01:07more

Putco Window Visor Installation - 2009 Dodge Ram- Video
Today we are going to install part number P580178 from Putco, and we are going to install this on a 2009 Dodge Ram full-size pickup. These vent visors will install in the channel with the window, and these will actually have a little bit of adhesive on them to help them stick to the inside of the channel of the door itself. The track that the vent visor fits into is right here, all the way down. And what happens is that the adhesive on the vent visor itself will actually attach to this inside edge on top up here, inside this edge right here. So before you peel the backing off the adhesive, it is a good idea to always do a test of it first. So let us put it right in the channel and just pop it into place. Then you have a good idea of where the adhesive sticks onto the weatherstripping here.more

WeatherTech Window Visor Installation - 2000 Chevrolet S-10- Video
Today we are going to be installing window visors from WeatherTech, part number WT80018, on a 2000 Chevrolet S-10. The first thing we want to do is to do a little bit of prep work to the window. We want to just take and clean the top portion of the window off. We just use a light solvent or just regular soap and water to do this. And you also want to get in and clean out the window sill as well. For this particular set of visors, there is not any sort of adhesive that is going to be used to hold the visors in, so it is not that imperative that we get it that clean. But on some of the visors, there will be additional double-sided tape to help hold it into the sill, and in that case you want to make sure you get it cleaned out really well.more

EGR Tapeless Window Visors Review- Video
Today we are going to show you how to install EGR tapeless window visors, part # 571351. This will fit the Chevrolet Trailblazer 02-06 and the GMC Envoy XL 02-06. This kit is a four piece system that covers all four windows, it is pretty simple to install. We are going to start with the first half front windows. All they do is pop in and slide into the track. To slide it in the track, there will be a lot of twisting and bending, but it will bend and flex to accommodate that. Once you get the window visors installed, a good thing is to run your windows up and down a few times. The window will drag on the plastic a little bit as you can see. The plastic does get pushed up by the window. What you want to do is actually take some time and run them up and down a few times and let them sit in the sunlight preferably or at least in a warm environment. That way it will conform to the window and the seal around the window.more
