Today were going to show you Track Racks aluminum tie downs for their sliding ladder rack base, part number TA25100. These tie downs are designed to fit over the base rail systems for sliding Track Rack ladder racks. Theyre made in the U.S.A. out of aluminum so that theyre durable and corrosions resistant. Theyre also covered by a two-year warranty. The main body of the tie down is cast aluminum.
Theres a large hand knob on here that you use to loosen or tighten the tie down once its on the base rail system. On the inside youll see that theres a plastic shield so it can slide nicely over the aluminum base rails. As you tighten the hand knob it moves the stop clamp up or down on top of the base rails system. Well go ahead and head over to the truck and show you how it installs and works. First well take an Allen wrench and remove the stop bolt from the end of our base rails.
Next well take our anchor point, fit it over the rails, make sure the hand knobs loosened, slide it on, then well reinstall our stop bolt at the end of the base rail. We can position the anchor point anywhere we need it, and when weve got it set just grab the hand knob and tighten it down. Track Rack also has a rail that goes on the inside edge of the bed that can be used. Again, all I have to do is slide the anchor point over the rail, position it and lock it down. That does it for Track Racks Aluminum Tie Downs for the Track Rack sliding ladder rack cases, part number TA25100.
