When at home, usually you will have access to a ladder or step stool that will make things easier. But what about when you are on the go and you arrive at your destination? Thule offers the Step Up wheel step. The wheel step attaches to the wheel of your vehicle and rests against the tire. Feed the strap around the back of your tire. If you need to, you can loosen the strap by pressing the lever on the buckle. Once you have the wheel step where you want it, simply pull the loose end of the strap to tighten it. Make sure that the wheel step is above the center line of your wheel. If you need to make it higher, just shift it up and tighten the strap again. It provides a sturdy platform so that you can load and unload your roof rack cargo box. It is also collapsible. Included with the wheel step is a carrying case so you can easily take it with you.
