Now that we have gone over the features, we will go ahead and give you a hands-on look at the Thule Crossover rolling suitcase and day pack. On the front you have the day pack that easily zips off. This is the perfect way to take one piece of luggage to carry all of your belongings and things for going out and about town. The main compartment is fairly spacious, big enough for books, magazines or even small laptops or netbooks. On the front is a small compartment for keeping items handy for quick access, like your wallet or keys. On the side are a couple of mesh pockets that would be perfect for carrying water bottles or other drinks. On the back side is Thule’s cool mesh backpack straps that are padded and breathable and also include Thule’s die-stamped aluminum strap buckles. 2:23
Underneath the backpack are a couple of small pockets for storing small items. On the bottom of the face of the bag is another small compartment for keeping small items. The backpack reattaches just as easily as it came off. On the top of the suitcase is Thule’s crushproof safe zone. The crushproof safe zone is a removable heat molded polypropylene shell. This hard shell is lined on the inside and it is a perfect place to store small electronics, like cell phones, MP3 players, or even your glasses. On the top, side and bottom of the bag are Thule’s quick grab and go handles. These handles provided an easy, convenient place to grab the bag on your way out the door. On the bottom you will also see Thule’s aluminum feet. These hard feet hold up very, very well versus the traditional plastic feet. 3:23
The main compartment of this suitcase is plenty spacious. There are two mesh pockets on either side, perfect for keeping small articles of clothing, like socks or underwear. And you have a top zipped separated compartment that is perfect for keeping your clean and dirty laundry separated. On the inside are straps for securing your clothing and keeping things compact. On the back, you will see Thule’s patented V-tube collapsible handle design. It offers a little bit more rigidity and structure than traditional rolling luggage handles.
