Today on this 2006 Ford F-150 we will be installing the Longview adjustable towing mirror part number CTM2300-A. The longview towing mirrors are very easy to use and only take a few seconds to install. To install what you need to do is slide the mirror over our existing mirror until it is fully seated. You will see here on the vehicle side we have got a hole. We are going to be using this clip that is provided and all we need to do is take the hook end of the clip and hook it on to the inside of the mirror to where the thread is faced towards the hole in the back side and then we will just take the thumb screw, feed it through the hole and thread it on to the clip. 00:37
That is going to hold the mirror nice and tight on to the vehicle. That is all there is to the installation. You can see that with the mirrors installed we have got an extended view of our back side of our vehicle. We can easily see whatever we are towing behind us.
