Today on our 2011 Chevy Silverado we're going to install the Longview Towing mirrors part no. CTM1600. First thing you set you get two mirrors, one for the driver and one for the passenger side. Here towards the end tab of the mirror, you will identify which side you have. This is for the left hand. Now we need to go ahead and set up our attachment for securing the mirror.
Take part the hardware and go outside to inside through the end tab. Now we're going to go ahead and slip the mirror over the manufacturer's mirror. Now with my mirror in position, we're going to go ahead and add my angle bracket. Angle bracket will slide on over, hold down the piece and then I'm going to go ahead and start our thumbwheel. This thumb wheel or knob we're going to tighten about 2 or 3 thread.
Next we need to add the hook. The hook will go through the angle bracket and attach to the front of the mirror. Quick tech tip: before attaching the hook to the mirror, go ahead and get your thumb wheel or knob started, again, 2 or 3 threads. Now we will simply push the hook in and around the front and attach it to the mirror. Once we have the front hook here attached around the manufacturer's mirror, we'll go back to our thumb wheels and tighten them down.
When tightening them down, I recommend to go no more than finger tight. Alright, that completes the install of the driver side, we'll go ahead and repeat the same process on the passenger side. And that will complete the install or our long view towing mirrors part no. TTM1600 on our 2011 Chevy Silverado.
CIPA Custom Towing Mirrors Installation - 2011 Chevrolet Silverado

Today on our 2011 Chevy Silverado, we are going to install the Cipa Custom Towing Mirror. We are going to install the custom towing mirror on the left hand side part number 10901. We're also going to repeat this same process on the right hand side, part number 10902. We first need to place the foam pads in two peices. Our first is the wedge, and the second is inside the body of the mirror. With that done, we can slip it on over the manufacturer's mirror.Once we have slipped the mirror in place, go and take our wedge and slip it in the back.
