Alright, today on this 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee were going to do a test fit of part number Y02422 from Yakima; this is the Swingdaddy 4 Bicycle rack. One thing to know about this bicycle rack is that it is designed for 2-inch receiver hitches only. Now well start off our test fit by installing the bike rack into the hitch and then well go ahead and anti-rattle bolt and put the safety pin on the other side. With the bicycle rack installed, we can go ahead and get some clearance measurements. From bicycle rack to the bumper clearance is going to 3 inches. Ground clearance is going to be 16 inches.
Alright, now well go ahead and swing the bike rack out of the way and check for access to the back of the vehicle. Alright, that works out. Now well go ahead and load up a bike. First thing well do is unfold the bike rack arms, well also make sure that the straps are out of the way on the cradles were going to use. Well go ahead and load up a bike, well balance it out on the cradles then well swing the anti-sway part of the cradle back down to the seat tube, well strap that in place and then go back and run the other straps back over the top tube.
And thats all it takes to load up a bike. Now with the bike loaded up, we can still have access to the back of the vehicle. Well go ahead and try that out now. Okay, that looks good. With that, that will finish it for our test fit of part number Y02422 from Yakima; the Swingdaddy 4 Bike rack on our 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee..
