Review of the Yakima SwingDaddy 4 Hitch Bike Rack on a 2010 Lexus RX 350

Alright, today on this 2010 Lexus RX350, were going to do a test fit of part number Y02422 from Yakima. This is our SwingDaddy Bicycle Rack. One thing to know about this bicycle rack, that it is designed for 2-inch receiver hitches only. First thing well do our test fit is tighten down the anti-rattle bolt and then install the lock on the other side. And then well go ahead and get a couple of clearance measurements. Alright, from the closest point of the bicycle rack to the bumper is going to be 2 inches.

Ground clearance is going to be 17-1/2 inches. Alright, now well go ahead and swing the bicycle rack out of the way and check for access to the back of the vehicle. Alright, that looks good. And now, well go ahead and unfold the arms in the bike rack so we can load up our bike. Before we load up our bike, well make sure that the straps are out of the way for the cradles were going to use and well make sure that the anti-sway part of the cradles are moved towards the center.

Well go ahead and load up our bike. Well go ahead and swing the anti-sway part of the cradle back down to the seat tube. Well strap that in place, then well run the two remaining straps over the top tube. And thats all the steps that are needed to load up the bike. Okay, with the bike loaded up, we can actually check access to the back of the vehicle one more time.

Okay, that works too. And with that, that will finish it for our test fit and this is part number Y02422, the SwingDaddy from Yakima, on our 2010 Lexus RX350.
